...The Government exercised the latter option when we disagreed over the judgment debt and other Gargantuan crimes. The Government, and my colleague Ministers at the time know that there was no provision for dismissal under my contract of employment as a Minister or that of any Minster.
I reserve the right as a citizen of Ghana to protect and defend my honour and integrity should this civilized challenge for the truth be ignored.
This is not the price I should be made to pay by the Government of Ghana for defending the Constitution of Ghana in the Waterville and Isofoton unconstitutional payments declared by the Supreme Court.

The flaws in our system are endemic and would need fine minds such Tarzan; yes Tarzan you heard it right, who is no friend of mine but a great source of food for thought to mend some of our ailing economic problems. This is why I still call for an ALL-IN government which will harness Ghana’s finest to brainstorm for a progressive Ghana. All-In government may not be perfect but the best for Ghana as it stands now.
Maybe, Tarzan „an old young pioneer" is in the wrong place to be, I mean the wrong party. Tarzan hit us all where it hurts most by that I mean hit our balls legs apart. Tarzan is right on the spot with his sober account/analysis of events although one may question his sincerity whilst he was in office.
Yes indeed we talk a lot but act very little or to put it another way our hot air has only one outlet i.e. our rectum. The TUC has been abused many times by those who don't care a fig about it. You can love erstwhile "Marxist" Tarzan or loathe him but one thing is clear Tarzan is coming out so let us welcome him into our fold. Again Tarzan you are in the wrong Party and stand alone with your dissenting opinion.

Come on Bro', Tarzan has never been a Marxist and he will never be one. He is just another one of those UP/NPP pranksters who actually believe and think that a massively endowed, but neo-colonial country (Ghana) that runs its economy on charity and hand-outs and which pays its work-force starvation wages, is and can be described as a capitalist country.
Tarzans desperate, patronizing and futile attempt to lure the complaints of labor away from their legitimate concerns to other nebulous areas, suspiciously suggests that he is very probably a pimp/agent for some capitalist interests in the energy sector whose profits he wants to protect. Such Uncle Tom capitalist scroungers would readily sell their mothers and countries for a bloody dime in the name of consultancy for imperialist concerns.
Does Tarzan want to arrogantly impute that Ghanaian workers do not know where the shoe is pinching them the most? Can he claim that he feels the pains of Ghanaian workers to the extent that he can speak for them or on their behalf?
Such opportunistic moral crusades by capitalist sharks can never solve the inherent problems of the historical struggle of workers anywhere - particularly in the under-developed world. All Tarzan is doing is to attract the sympathy of aggrieved workers and to fool them to win their support for some possible future political aspirations like he and some others did in the "kume Preko" series.
Let me make it clear that no capitalist, no enemy of socialism, no enemy of Nkrumah has the ability nor the moral authority to usurp the struggle of workers and citizens in the bid to gain their human rights, decent living conditions, a reasonable amount of dignity as workers, the right to work and their fair share of the resources and revenue of the state.
All that he Tarzan is doing by the substance of this presentation is to hypocritically exploit the difficult situation workers find themselves in at this point in time so as to project or relaunch his shattered political image back into national prominence.

It is not going to work. History is recording this.Unnecessary protracted court case, burning of markets, unnecessary strikes, etc Would not work for Gods elected president. It was ordained that Mahama should lead Ghana at this moment and time, for a reason only known to God. And those who want to uncompromisingly bring Ghana to its needs without recourse to the future implications for the country shall fail.

Workers pensions are not paid, daily wages are not respected, incomes are dwindling, tariffs and other charges are rising especially talk time and you are there organizing a cheap political vendetta against the government. Whiles this is on I hope you don't ask for increases in pay next year because that will also mean govt bill will go high, then the govt will go on strike and not pay workers. Lets see the one who will cry first.

First time in my life I at least with this guy.The TUC Strike is definitely a wrong fight, populist and not in the best interest of workers. Certainly the government should stabilize the economy , pay workers more and not be involved in any form of subsidies which is normally a recipe for corruption and distortion of the economy. Gradual increment yes, but strike a little too late and not beneficial.
Only going to hurt poor Ghanians who are already suffering. If it is for the down fall of Mahama, it is not worth it.

Why is organized labour not demonstrating for MPs, ministers, the presidency, Board members and others to declare their assets publicly? Why organized labour in the four regions making up SADA silent on the alleged corruption? Why is organized labour silent on the Auditor General's reports-1992-2011?
Charles you have written the truth, but remember you were once VRA Boss, what did you do to limit corruption, to increase power generation? Good day and hope Ghana will not join France to have a 5th Republic. Ballots, not coups!

I have always maintained your view, Tarzan. You are absolutely right. The TUC has got it wrong and seems to be fighting the wrong fight. There are many areas e.g education, health, environment, welfare, youth employment etc .The TUC can seriously demonstrate to raise awareness, influence government policies and industrial practices in both private and governmental work sectors for the benefits of the workers and their families. It sounds the TUC bosses are now feeling the heat in their basic utility bills and selfishly misleading and using the workers as usual to strike without any serious consideration to the repercussions or consequences e.g loss of employment and stagnant economic activities which could hit the citizens and the country hardly. Seriously, the TUC leaders are embarking on their own selfish and egotistical political agenda.
