Look at it this way,when you look at countries like Britain,there are people called SPORTS JOURNALISTS...and there are categories in that section too,horse racing,rugby,cricket,football,athletics these commentators SPECIALISED in the programmes they perform,is that the case in Ghana?...Our Ghanaian football commentators come on the radio and do the job as if they are rapping with Sarkodie,any person in the studio can step up and commentate on any sports depending on the connections you have with the programmes manager...in Europe the commentator can say a brief history about any player on the pitch in ghana is all about the commentator being like an auctioneer and speaking fast...football has become scientific we have to follow,if hiring Toppmoller will help ..lets hire him topp time.

From 1 July 2001 Toppmöller was coach with Bayer 04 Leverkusen, whom in his first season led to the final of the UEFA Champions League, as well as second place in federal league and the German cup final. Toppmöller was resultantly declared by German sports journalists as "football coach of the year" for 2002. However, in the following season Leverkusen performed poorly, and in light of a poor league position which could have led to relegation, Toppmöller was sacked on 16 February 2003.
Toppmöller became coach of Hamburger SV on 23 October 2003. However, after the team fell to last place in the league, and Toppmöller used strange tactics, formations and out of position players (such as midfielder Sergej Barbarez in defence), he was sacked on 17 October 2004.

Folks, we may be getting the whole picture wrong by focusing on GFA on this issue at this time of the hour. How many days left for our second leg against Egypt since this issue came up? Initially, it was as if the whole thing was a rumor. Now just yesterday, 14 days to our toughest task, everything came out. Do you see that as coincident? I see this as something planned by the opponent, I mean Egypt, to distract us from our preparations toward the encounter. I may be wrong but we need to keep focus.

GFA says it has nothing to do with this man but the man is in town. Now, according to the other sources, Toppmoeller may be here for a different contract, meaning, one of the club was the reason of his coming. The question is, which club do we have has the finances to hire this man? He is an expensive coach for crying out loud. For the financial reason, I'm not buying into the idea that he is here for a club.

Therefore can we do our best to ignore him? Is there anyway we could brush this issue aside until we return from Egypt? It is very important and will really help us. We always have GFA with us and so could deal with them when we returned from Cairo.

This is the issue POLO, who wants to stop a citizen from serving his country, is needed; this is the time, Mr. Kofi Manu, Aduana Stars Chief Executive Officer who vowed to demonstrate against any invitation handed to the KPB, should voice out; this is the point, Anthony Yeboah, whom the country used to beg before his puts on the country's jersey to serve his own country, however, had the nerve to judge KPB without looking back at his own actions during his era, has to come out.

I'm calling for all of these gurus for the fact that when it is time for important issues, we hardly hear them. This is the time they need to use their influence to step up to stop GFA, if this rumor is true because if Kwasi Appiah is demoted whilst on top of his game, the chances given to the citizens in this avenue could be caught off. After Kwasi Appiah has given his best and done with, thanks to POW and those advocated on Appiah's behalf, other local coaches would have the opportunity to also show their talents in this area of sports. This is the reason these football gurus are needed to voice out.

Things should be done secretly so that team could focus and prepare well. After the match, as I humbly asked, we could tackle the issue.

Look at this this way: If a rumour emerges that the Fa wants to employ a technical director, you can dismiss it. But if the rumour goes on to name the person, then there is some truth in it. Of all the coaches intheworld, why did the rumour pick on Toppmoller? Now he is in Ghana. Next thing you hear is that Kwesi Appiah requested for help. GFA is not ruling out bringing anybody. they say that IF KWESI APPIAH REQUESTS. I bet you, they will force Kwesi to say he requested.

Why are those fools requesting that now? When the going was tough nobody thought about a technical director. It is just a matter of these fools and crooks devising a way to get their 10%.
Mark my words Ghana will fail miserably if this issue is upheld.
Nigeria on two occasions used a local coach to qualify them for the WC and later bought a white man to lead to the WC. In all those cases they failed miserably. I believe they have learnt their lesson well.
African teams perform better with locals as their coach and even Fifa president himself has said that the foreigner coaches are destroying African football.
No world cup has ever been won with a foreigner be it a coach or a technical director. It is a national pride and it will continue to be so. Ghana wins cup with only local coaches.
A word to the wise is enough.

one of the reasons why our goal keepers seemed to be deteriorating in output can be attributable to the goal keepers trainers we have been choosing. they had flaws during their playing days. i suggest either joseph carr or simon addo as a gola keepers trainer for the blackstars.

We should never have a Ghana coach because they never even qualified us to WC... If it was not for gyan the whitemannwould have taken us to semi final. I don't care color of skin so far as you ca do the job
