I wish you had given your assertion some evidence or back-up. In this case, you could have obtained the "true" reasons for the disaffection from the Chief himself or from his officers. Otherwise, you should have provided speculative, but logical reasons founded on a piece of the history of the municipality. Without any reasons, or logical probabilities or possibilities to stimulate the reader's mind, your presentation becomes just an announcement. Good luck next time.
