  Unless I'm mistaken, my understanding of the Herald piece was that Mr Dapaaha at the time he wrote to the President was of the opinion that SG could be persuaded to accept $10m as settlement.

  The whole NDC machinery from the Presidency to the least apologist have a huge deficit in intelligence, and no matter how simply it is broken down to them, they would not get it. It's akin to squeezing water from the proverbial rock in Moses time, and therefore, it's not surprising that, the country is headed south, in terms of it's growth and development objectives. Look at the mess with SSPP, look at the mess with our economy and our finances, look at the mess in our agric sector, health sector, energy sector, employment sector, educational sector, industry, manufacturing, etc, etc. and these are hard core facts.

  These are the truths according to those who sold the Drill Ship. Since there is no supporting documents, how can we conclude that their truths are factual? If their truths are even factual, are they legal? We Ghanaians are looking for the legal truths. Not even the factual truths. What did the law of Ghana say about selling of a state or corporations property? Did they follow the law? Did someone's action or inability to function in his ministry resulted into the loss of the case? Why should the then attorney general call off the case? Is it legal to call off a case of this nature? Or there is an interior motive? Did then president know something about that? What was his view? Ghanaians should use the law of the land to deal with this issue. Ghanaians should not depend on fabricated incoherence stories of the perpetrators of this criminal acts. Attorney general calls for all the documents. Why should he personally handle the document of a state property? Why are the documents hidden? If everything is legal and genuinely done, then why should the documents be hidden? Why should he keep a government documents when he is not in government? This means that there is a corruption at these levels. Why should the Societie Generale destroy this important document? Can we take that alone into international level? Where did Kwaku Baako get all his information from even if they are not true? I think he should be arrested for being an accomplish in this matter. He should face the law for his incoherent liars to defend corruption.This is not a case of stories but a case of Law of Ghana.

  Our main question is where is the balance of 3.5 million dollars. It is foolishness to be draging the matter that we never sold the ship 10 million dollars, but 24 million dollars. Yes, we agree with you that the ship has been sold.
  
  Now Dapaah, why is your press conference not telling Ghanaians where the 3.5 million dollars is, but instead dodging by challenging a news paper report. What a funny shameful mentality you Dapaah is displaying. It is time you guys come out clean on this matter for the judgement of God is at your doors for certain.
