The system is so bad that it does not motivate one to do science. You struggle to do science and cannot get to further your education or get job because of corruption. Imagine a science student suffers to get good grades and cannot get admission unless you bribe or see a politician (protocol). Look at the number qualified applicants who could not get to do medicine.

Visionless goverment with visioneless agenda. A lot of bright students are staying home because of the so called double cohort system. My sister is being asked to pay 4000 GHS (protocol) before she can gain admission to pursue her study in nursing. I cry for he beloved coutry, Ghana...a country that was once destine to be the shining stay and the becon of Africa has no fallen apart with misplaced priorities. when you people like Ablakwa making decision for our childreen's future everyone has to be concerned because they are toying with our destiny. The wisdom in Akuffo Free educatiom mantra was to make education at all levels accessible and "a right for every Ghanaian". Yet some section of the populaced was duped to belief that the Great Mans policy was Sakawa. Now we have a bunch of students sitting home and idling a recipei for teenage pregnancy and armed robbery across the country.

We have a bunch of loudmouths who are so consumed with hatred for Akans, they have now organized to topple anything that comes from Akan direction. To make things worse, even within the Akan community, this game is being played internally. You are branded a bigot if dare speak against these people.
The fact is NPP is Akan based party and NDC is a Non-Akan based party, period. That does not mean the Ewes and Northerners cannot join the NPP and Akans cannot join the NDC. I don't understand why the NPP is trying to make the NDC force it to run away from that fact.
The NDC only wins elections with extra Akan votes, mostly from Brong and Central Regions, and now the Nzima area of Western Region. It's a fact that whenever the NDC wins all Akans lose together, and the ones mostly affected are the ones who vote for them.
This is because the NDC is full of loudmouth ethnic people who are able to turn the tides around whenever they are accused of ethnic vindictiveness and favours, and this is how Akuffo Addo became a victim of his own words. He found this out when it was too late.
No matter how good your intentions are, like the innocent Nana Addo, there are heavy propaganda equipment owned by the NDC that can easily destroy you. And so we will continue to be ruled by the incompetent loudmouths and their professional arguers in the media till the nation collapses, only then will the people, most especially the Akans, miss people with good intentions and compassionate love for the country like Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo.

Who insults/ mocks others because of who they vote for? Why are u always crying wolf with no aorta of evidence? The primitivity is becoming too much. The few evil ones should allow us to function. Nobody hates anybody. If an Ashanti stands on NDC ticket, the 8 regions who vote for NDC will still vote for him hands down.

My brother, make no mistake. Ghanaian are now poised to have their education therefore each and every student paying so much fee for schooling are learning hard to come out successfully. Remember this any Ghanaian who happen to come to the USA for further education performs/competes with the US counterparts very well because of the hard way they learn back in Ghana.
So make no mistake that there is too much Goods Grades being attain by student. It is only unfortunate that Ghana does not have enough universities/colleges to accommodate all students. Think of Nigeria who got vested into education long time ago, their citizen are benefiting a lot when in the oversea countries like USA. Britain, Japan and many others. Ghanaian should continue to take studies very seriously. India is benefiting a lot by outsourcing of talent from developed country to them. Ghana students keep doing the right things. You all shall overcome one day. Amen

I am a fool don't I?. However let me know to cut matters short.. Thanks

Office of Admissions
Any College
Wherever, Ghana.
Dear Any College:
Having now reviewed the many rejection letters received in the last few weeks, it is with great regret that I must inform you that I am unable to accept your rejection at this time.
While I realize that, whatever you might read after that first sentence may be of little consolation, I would still like to clarify some points for you.
This year, I applied to a great number of fine colleges and universities and, of course, received many rejection letters. Unfortunately, the number of rejection letters that I can accept is very limited. It is for this reason that I was forced to reject the rejection letters of many qualified institutions.
This was not an easy task. Each rejection was reviewed carefully and on an individual basis. Many factors were taken into account, such as size of the institution, student-faculty ratio, location, reputation, cost and social atmosphere.
I am certain that most of the colleges I applied to are more than qualified to reject me. I am also sure that some mistakes were made, but I hope they were few in number.
I am aware of the disappointment that this decision may bring, for these were not easy judgments. Throughout my deliberations, I have kept in mind the importance to you of this decision. I wish it were possible to cite specific reasons for each of the determinations I have made but, frankly, it is not.
It was even necessary for me to reject some letters that were clearly qualified as rejections. This is surely my loss.
I appreciate your having enough interest in me to reject me, and, although it may seem inappropriate to you at this time, let me take the opportunity to wish you well in what I am sure will be a highly successful academic year.
See you all in the fall!
Sincerely,
P. Devlin

I find it very difficult to understand why admission forms are sold in Ghana!
Why that?
In Europe, one can dowmload the forms as PDF or write to the instituion for copies - free of charge including postage.
