A COUNTRY WHICH IS TAXING EVEN CONDOMS, A COUNTRY WHICH CAN'T FOOT UTILITY BILLS OF ITS STUDENTS BUT PROVIDING FREE LUXURIOUS ACCOMMODATION FOR DEPUTY MINISTERS AND MPs? JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!!!!! WHY CAMPAIGN FOR THE JOB IF YOU HAVE NO PLACE TO LIVE IN ACCRA? WHY?WHY? WHY? WHY? DO YOU ACCEPT THE JOB IF YOU CAN'T RENT A PLACE FOR YOURSELF IN ACCRA?. A COMMON TEACHER IN ACCRA IS ABLE TO RENT ACCOMMODATION, WHY CAN'T A DEPUTY MINISTER?THE MOST HURTING OF IT ALL IS THAT MOST OF THEM HAVE MANSIONS IN ACCRA BUILT WITH TAX PAYER'S MONEY AND ARE STILL ACCEPTING FREE ACCOMMODATION. WHAT NONSENSE? WHAT NONSENSE? WHAT NONSENSE? EVEN BETTER COUNTRIES LIKE ISRAEL AND SOME DEVELOPED COUNTRIES DON'T PROVIDE ACCOMMODATION FOR MINISTERS. THIS NONSENSE MUST STOP, THIS NONSENSE MUST STOP, THIS NONSENSE MUST STOP IMMEDIATELY.

today our country has the notorious reputation of being one of the most corrupt in the world thanks to pepeni and his band of thieves . we told everyone we knew he had no plan or program to develop the nation except pillage the little monies left and yet today the claim that they could not perform because of a petition . look at their ministers who anything more than 3 pages is a challenge to read talk less of projects whose summaries alone can be over 5000 pages , they are so lazy and selfish that nothing good can come from them . their chief ideologist of evil avenoor was killed and i had planned to go to his grave and urinate and relieve myself on him once every month but he cremated himself i guess i will do so instead on rawlings grave soon. workers are on strike because they know this azaa govt has no clue and in this day and age considering the wealth of the nation no one should work for less than 1000 cedis or 500$ but if free education was such a challenge how can they ever fathom such a reality . they are hopeless so we are preparing for our revolution and telling all righteous to sharpen their knives and bury their guns to wait for for the clarion call. they think they have fooled the Akans especially the fantis , a third of their votes came from the fantis but there is not a single substantiate minister who is a true fanti . they wage war against us Akans but when we come our and call foul they say we are liars . we are ready now so let them bring it on . long live the republic of Akan

It is about time some of these incompetent ass holes in government get some little compassion for the poor taxpayer, among whom some don't even has a place to sleep. Thousands of kayayos in the street of Accra pay taxes, sleep in makeshift wooden structures(just like their Togolese Trokosi Squatting counterparts in Oforikurom-Anwonaga in Kumasi)and above all voted massive for the NDC out of hate for Ashantis. It is about time the NDC government show mercy on these poor brothers and sisters by paying for their accommodation as a gform of sacrifice to raise money for the government to take care of the poor. Thank you Linda. Yours was a good submission worth noting.
What all this means is that, the various irresponsible govts over the past 50 years, appoint crowds of these incompetent bootlickers as Ministers and Deputy Ministers without any reference at all to the ability of the state to pay or house them - even if it is necessary to house them.
This brings to the fore that the kind of people who go into politics today ostensibly do so because they think it is their turn to enjoy life at the expense of the state and the people who voted for them. As is visibly evident in the performance of the govt today and the one before them, they just simply do not have a clue to as much as cope with crisis management.
With the kind of 1st world salaries that these so-called Ministers, MPs and govt appointees are earning, they should go and find their own accommodation and leave our money alone.
Many of those who are in govt today and are benefiting from the largesse of govt, had never before, ever paid any appreciable amount of tax to the state, yet, they are living 'large' off the state. Are we running a charity for failures and bootlickers in this country or what?
The taxes and money that are being deployed to pay for the Hollywood lifestyle of these certified buffoons and clowns, come from workers who are earning GHC50 to GHC200 a month. If this is not criminal, I do not know what it is.
Believe it or not, there are senior govt appointees who are earning upwards of GHC30,000.00 a month in state institutions where workers in those same institutions are earning less than GHC200.00 a month. What nonsense is this? Have we all been educated to become stupid, greedy and insensitive to the deplorable plight of our less privileged brothers, sisters and human beings?
Meanwhile, one cannot sense or discern any extraordinary corporate achievements by those highly paid govt appointed officials in the running of those state institutions. More often than not, a continuous downward spiral of failure is the case. So the question arises, why are we paying some of these jokers so much?
Govt in this country has degenerated into a scam of criminal collusion and interests by criminals who are worse than armed robbers and drug dealers. They are no better than the colonial govts that were booted out in 1957. What we therefore need in this country today, is a new independence movement to boot out the neo-colonialist puppets who have turned us back a full cycle to ground ZERO and made our independence meaningless.

They're living lavishly, way beyond their means while at the same time, have no clue on our to manage the nation's affairs. Everything is so mismanaged and you'll think that these heartless fools will try to be content and show a little compassion for the poor people instead, all they do is whine all day. They are not homeless. Did they not have homes before their appointment ? And are they not proud and arrogant owners of mansions and Filling Stations so soon after their appointments ?? We are in terribly hard times, thanks to their Adminstration's misrule, and they were lucky to receive 120% salary increases plus huge housing allowances in the midst of the hardships they inflicted on Ghanaians. Let them live in their own homes as their contribution to the effort to repair the damage they and their Party has inflicted on the national economy. It is an insult for some of them to say sac rice by paying their electricity bills. The vampires must know that the voters who placed them where they are now have always rented or lived in their own houses and paid their electricity bills as well without complaining, and yet they took no part in the eating of all the meat from the bone. It is an insult for those who ate all the meat and finally swallowed the bone to expect to be housed at the expense of those who neither ate some of the meat nor participated in the swallowing of the bone of the national economy.

Do we need to house them? No. Give them a housing allowance to rent their own places. They are not better than all other Ghanaians who are going through all the difficulties inflicted on them by the clueless political leadership. In the USA only the President and the Vice are provided with accommodation. We need to remove this colonial relic of providing every Tom Dic and Harry government officials with accommodation. We can no longer afford it any longer. Are teachers, nurses and other public servants provided with accommodation? This modern day "Animal Farm" must come to an end.

The government should get out of the business of providing bungalows to government employees. For one thing, that practice tends to distort the housing market. Pay the Ministers appropriate salaries, and let them go on the market and rent flats or houses as they see fit. I do agree that one of the things the Kuffuor administration did which was dis-tasteful was its sale of government owned property to functionaries of the NPP.

Akosah, a leading member of the Convention People’s Party (CPP).
According to NDC insiders, the top officials who benefitted from these State facilities include the current Vice President, Mr. John Mahama, who acquired his under the same policy Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey benefitted from.
It will be recalled that in the year 1996/7, the Sakumono SSNIT Flats, which had been officially designated as the residence of Members of Parliament of the Republic of Ghana were sold out to the MPs whose terms had just ended. This was done without prior arrangement for incoming MPs, who, for a time, were stranded, in terms of having no official residence to live in.
Our sources also disclosed that the wife of the current Minister for Manpower and Employment, Hon. E. T. Mensah, acquired several State Fishing Corporation (SFC) cold stores in Tema. At that time her husband was serving on the body set up by national administration to handle the sale of certain SFC assets. The sources asked: “Who acquired the catering rest houses around the country when the PNDC sold them?”
One of the sources pointed out categorically that: “The NDC cannot win this moral debate… It only makes the NDC look and sound nauseatingly hypocritical.”
They cited the recent judgement pronounced by the Supreme Court on the sale of a state bungalow to Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, which judgement has become the subject of controversy between national administration and the NPP stalwart.

Were they appointed to enahnce their lifestyle or to serve the people of Ghana. It is clear that so many poor and inexpirienced people have been appointed ministers. Such people will add no value to the standard of living of the average Ghanaian as they are themselves struggling and dont know how to create employment for themselves to enable them pass on same to the bigger populace. It also shows that the leadership does not know much about governance. YOU CANNOT EXPORT ANY LOCAL PRODUCT OR SERVICE WHERE YOU DO NOT HAVE EXIDENCE OF YOUR EXPIRIENCE OF THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY!! Please appoint expirienced people who have their own house and at least one car and then what we have to provide will be security as they may require it due to their inactions exceeding the value they add to society. Note that the pRIME minister or president of Norway and the other Nordic states walk out for dinner the same way the ordinary citizens do, some ministers and mps in the UK take the train to work. Do also note that whereas some ministers of EU countries fly to international conferences in economy class or business in poor countries like ghana such ministers insist on flying first class. IF this is not driven by poor leadership then it could be extreme poverty of the mind!!!!!or POOR UPBRINGING SO IN THEIR MINDS FLYING FIRST CLASS(with an amount that can build one borehole!!) is a way of running from poverty for ever. Do note that there are still some RAWLING'S in the Ghana army and if they react you may be stripped of ALL YOUR ILL ACQUIRED WEALTH.
