Look Kwami, in Ghana's favour would the arrest result because all the players you mentioned have impacts on the country. That's why I firstly hinted whether those comments were based on facts or opinion. Let's not assume nothing is practicable in Ghana. These are serious allegations that must be investigated by whoever is in their powers to do so - what makes this funny? Even if those in their responsibilities refuse to act, Kwami you and I by many ways can mount pressure. We cannot sit and stare only to complain that there is corruption and so doing corruption hears us and go away.

When your conscience is as weak as Ghanaian illiterate leaders. You commit a crime and assert blame on others.
Question here is their due diligence? is it to serve the country and its people or negligence and any illiterate will pick the later and I am sorry to say most Ghanaian leaders will take advantage of negligence.
Most people are assigned a task without knowing the integrity that comes with it. They just go in with try and errors with cover up intent.
What do this tell you about the election petition; whoever paid more money to supreme court won. And as I Ghanaian very ashamed to realize, our leaders lack knowledge.

Are Judges not Ghanaians and or any different from our so-called members of Parliament?
The Ghanaian culture is one that is laced with bribery and corruptive instincts; it is not going to go away without vigilance from an elite group of auditors and elite security force. In our society, a man or woman who leaves a small town to take up a position of power at any job (private or public) is going to encounter people who are sent over to him by parents, relatives and or townsfolk who used to know the new big shot in town looking for work. The big shot cannot be honest even if he/she tried. They will become an embarrassment in their own hometown if they do not employ unemployable people sent over.
Expectation forced upon these big shot is to make waves even with subordinate workers to find a place on the payroll for someone not deserving or a post not needed. This has been Ghana since independence. This is why there thousands of people who pledge allegiance to Kennedy Agyapong who now owns a radio station he uses to insult people while he serves in Ghana parliament representing morons from Assin Fosu; a town where once sensible people roamed. This is true for every damn village person who now has a pot to piss in at Ghana's civil service hierarchy.

They did same to me at a family court in Tema, they frustrated me,humiliated me and also i lost my job in the process, arrested me and put me in cells whiles i was taking good care of my son,all because they collected bribe from my sons step father whom my son is staying with cos he is married to my sons mother. At the end of two years of battle case now my son who is 8yrs old is living with his step father all because of bribes. SO I DONT TRUST OUR JUDICIAL SERVICE ANYMORE.Dr. Maurice Ampaw U ARE RIGHT AND GOD BLESS U FOR SPEAKING THE TRUTH.

To Brother Ponchio and others who financially support children that do not reside with them, please remember to always pay in checks or Money orders, at the bottom of the checks/money orders, please state in small letters exactly what the payment is about, keep a copy of the payment in a safe place for your protection against false charges of child neglect.
Paying for child support in cash is always a mistake because without physical evidence, the judge has no way of knowing the truth, you could be jailed and forced to pay the whole thing again.
Sorry to hear about your unfortunate ordeal, however, if you had handled your business correctly, you could have won your case easily. Best of luck going forward.

I am disappointed to read this piece coming from no less a personality than Dr Ampaw. Judging from the premises he has no evidence to prove that judges take bribes. All that he is writing about is a prevsiling issue but this could not be defended anywhere when called to justify these claims. I was keen to read that DrAmpawhas coducted overt /covert investigation and hve found woeful bribery and corruption within the judicially. Do not get me wrong this canker is now a household word but does not mean that we should draw conclusions and use same brush to tag lawyers. Dr please come again with hard core evidence so that culprits would be brought to justice.

A brother of mine, a medical practitioner was victimized by the Ghana Health Service through indefinite suspension without salary. This was somebody subjected to viscious atrocities by the medical director of the hospital who reportedly said he was going to ensure my brother is expelled from the profession.Low and behold the medical director of effia nkwanta hospital got the Ghana Health Service dubiously suspend my brother indefinitely on grounds of mental ill-health without salary. My brother filed a case in Accra High Court through his lawyer. The lawyer who obviously was in bed with Ghana Health Service dragged the case for almost a year. The one instance he appeared in court with my brother was a witness of shame and redicul to this country's justice system. The lawyer takes him to a female judge in isolation who dismisses the case of the complainant in less than two minutes on grounds of beureucratic procedures involving the filing process. No single sole appeared from the Ghana Health Service despite entering conditional appearance after 6 good months following my brothers suit. The lawyer wouldn't go in for summary judgement for 6 good months despite Ghana Health Service not filing a defense. The case was never displayed on the notice board of the court and was never heard. On the day my brother went to collect his file from him,a lawyer my brother hired and paid without salary told my brother authorities at Ghana Health Service told him he was 'loud mouth' and they have been hunting for him for years happy to have gotten him now.The lawyer boldly added a chilling revelation that they have been instances where people with genuine cases have had justice turned against them in an attempt to seek justice and now languishing in jail for years.A whole host of them played similar tricks by taking up the case and sitting on it to render it redundant in favor of Ghana Health Service who are aware they indeed victimized my brother to cover up the rot in that institution. My brother was dubiously tagged with a mental illness, indefinitely suspended without salary for a year now.He had his life even threatened a number of times when he filed the case prompting him to petition the Inspector General of Police for a police inquiry into his case.Justice in Ghana is now for the rich and powerful the very people usually involved in some heinous, oppressive crimes against humanity.
