What? Why are we sending them there? We should make sure we pay them on time while they are there or else they will do worse than the Ugandan troops they will sell their weapons to Al Shabab for food and alcohol.

While I appreciate the good efforts of Ghana to help bring peace to Somalis, I wonder if we are not unnecessarily courting the displeasure of Al-Qaeda and its affiliates spread over the continent. Especially, given recent security signals and predictions of some religious people that the country is under threat of terrorist attacks, one would have thought that open involvement in Somalia would not be part of our worries.

What the hell is Ghana going to do in Somalia when Kenya has suffered so greatly for a similar exploit recently? If we have nothing to do with our policemen, they can come and keep the peace at Haatso and Ashongman so that we can sleep at night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need to sleep b'cos that is the only thing affordable in Ghana now.

Nonsense. Have they solved the armed robbery menace in Ghana? Deploy them on our roads and communities so we can all be free and stop that political and international nonsense. Is Mahama inviting Al Quaeda to Ghana?

Police from Ghana are not up to this. This is a vicious dangerous country. Everything and anything goes.
If an IDU strikes you and you loose a limb or two, what then? Ghana doesn't even have the medical support in Ghana to handle such things.
Your country is making huge mistake. Ghana forces have never seen such brutal enemy. Pray for them who are going.

Going to keep peace in Somalia when we have no peace in Ghana. We have armed robbers maurading and causing havoc here at home. We can't even control let alone get 'em, but have the nerve to send the few and unaccomplishing police force to save others. Where are our priorities. You can't clean your own house but quick to clean someone's dirt. Can the police stand the rebels the international military force could not defeat? I guess getting our guys killed is worth the prize for us being called good neighbours. Nigeria is way populous than Ghana, but how many are they sending? What's wrong with our leaders? May be they should conscript their kids living the high life abroad and send them first.

I would rather Ghana ought out of this mission if it were possible, but as a founding and key member of the AU, we have an obligation to the effort in the maintenance of world peace and security. May God keep grant you his maximum protection.

This is a dangerous assignment for our decent police officers. Let our officers remain in West Africa and let the East Africans deal with their problems. We don't understand their language, neither do we understand their brand of Islam that emboldens them to kill every living thing including pregnant women and children. Please let us stay in west Africa for now.

RIIGHT AFTER INDEPENDENCE GHANA SET OUT HEPING OTHER AFRICAN COUTRIES THROUGH MORALE SUPPORT, FINANCIAL SUPPORT, EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT AND WHAT HAVE YOU. AND YET WE HAVE GOT NOTHING TO SHOW FOR AL THESE SACRIFICES MADE BY OUR FATHERS. THIS IS TYPICAL ``DZI WO FIE ASEM SCENARIO'' AS ESPOUSED BY LATE PRESIDENT MILLS
ARE WE THE ONES WHO CREATED THE CRISIS IN THAT COUNTRY? WHY SHOULD WE BE MADE TO EXPOSE OURSELVES TO NEEDLESS DANGER BY KOWTOWING TO THE PRESSURE OF THE WEST, THE CREATORS OF THE INSTABILITY IN THAT COUNTRY

A Ghanaian husband, tired of his Police wife asking him how she looks, buys her a full length mirror. This does little to help, as now she just stands in front of the mirror, looking at herself, asking him how she looks.
One day, fresh out of the shower, she is yet again in front of the mirror, now complaining that her breasts are too small. The husband comes up with a suggestion. "If you want your breasts to grow, then every day take a piece of Somali imorted toilet paper, and rub it between your breasts for a few seconds."
Willing to try anything, the wife fetches a piece of Somali toilet paper, and stands in front of the mirror, rubbing it between her breasts. "How long will this take?" she asks.
"They'll grow slightly larger every day over a period of years," he replies.
The wife stops. "Why do you think rubbing a piece of Somali toilet paper between my breasts every day will make my breasts grow over the years?"
The husband shrugs. "Why not, the Liberian and Sierra Leon tissue worked for your butt, didn't it?"
