Tony! This is the truth all the wise people in Ghana have known since the beginning of the PNDC era - of which you were a champion.
In Kufour's eight years, we had a well-functioning national health insurance scheme, mass transport system, school-feeding scheme etc. These were policies that were well thought through and implemented. But you were one of the loudest critics of the NPP government to the extent that when the NDC won power in 2008, you even said in public that the NDC government must not continue with some housing projects the Kufour's government started because some of those projects were in the NPP strongholds. Pity a small mind talking!
Now you are bemoaning lack of policies and good governance by the NDC government. Too late - Ghanaians would have to sit with clueless Mahama for another three years.
The 'African disease' that afflicted the late Prof Mills is not sparing Mahama. African politicians do everything to win power but once 'elected', they realize that they lack the skills in governance. We saw that glaringly in Prof Mills but when he died, he was projected as the best leader Ghana had got.
Tony Aidoo should have had the courage to say what he is saying now to Mills.

The truth is : the non-thinking Ghanaians outnumber the brainy minority. The non-thinking idiots hail fools who, by virtue of democracy's ugly dispensation, are granted power to drag the entire nation into this deplorable state of despair, the subject of this discussion. It is very obvious that the government is manned by idiots who lack administrative wisdom in all things. They act before they think. How could a busy highway like the Adenta-Legon route go for months without lane markings and pedestrian cross bridges even at the busiest intersection. It should have been an exercise of commonsense to install temporary traffic lights where traffic stalls and pose danger to pedestrians. Unfortunately indeed this simple exercise has eluded our Better-Ghana-Agenda administration.
Over to Ayimensa-Peduase highway - an envy of our national Road Construction. Serious landslide is slowly gliding the rocks into the main highway, posing serious danger to traffic and lives. Barely a month ago a presidential motorcade whizzed past some of these rocks while visiting Peduase Lodge. It was visibly threatening enough to strike attention. But, as usual, the entire entourage including the President ignored or failed to foresee an ensuing danger. They are waiting for disaster to strike before they rush to summon some foregn help to think for them.
For years our so-called leaders have watched and sweated while waiting under frustration in traffic snarl along Spintex Road heading to and from Tetteh Quarshie Interchange. It is obvious that branch-off roads from Spintex and Tema Motorway can drammatically reduce the jam. So far there is none. Again this eludes the Better-Ghana-Agenda folks. They are waiting for some foreigners to think for us.

So after all, you were politically Down's syndromed to describe Nana Addo The Giant in unprintable terms for telling Ghanians that, the only way to grow our economy is to have an effective national development plan. You see, in deed what goes around will never fail to come around. Nana and Bawmia spelt out a vision, which would be achieved through useful education that will turn the ailing economy into an industrially based society where physico-morally sound individuals would have equal opportunity to work and work EFFICIENTLY to reshape the face of the current hopeless economy. Men of God of immense repute have gone ahead to describe the economy as being cursed. This a shame because we had two presidents, a crook and unadventurous who superintended on financial malfeasance to the extent that, even the conscience our local chiefs were bought and there was no way the voice of the ordinary Ghanaian could be heard. Where are we today? The presidency, as a result of its association with what Allah prohibits has now been cornered so that the whole country may soon be offered to people of filthy spirits, an abomination of our fathers only for peanuts. Be watchful oh my bretherin for you may soon be fed and controlled against the will of your own souls. Now, even Tony Aidoo, crusader of Otabelic insults feels uncomfortable in his own shell. What will be your fate, oh dear reader?
Until the NDC goes to Ghanaians and say, Mills infested us with his blindness and deaf so we could neither see nor hear Nana Addo and Bawmia's wise counsel but chose to chastise them for showing the right way, until Mahama weans himself from those friends of unclean souls, until Tony Aidoo goes to bow his head in shame before Otabil, Ghanaian will know no economic peace.

As the popular saying goes, these are coming straight from the horse's own mouth!
The pronouncements coming from Tony Aidoo's mouth lately give one the feeling that one of these days he's going to check out of the Mahama-led government!!! It seems contradictory, if not incongruous, to belong in a top position of a ruling government and be so open in lambasting the performance of the same government!
Perhaps it takes more than these features and pretences -- playing humility, afability, youth, good-looking, pointing of finger up into the Heavens in an invocation of the name of God -- to "manage" such an unruly, corrupt people and society like Ghanaians and Ghana!

I'm shocked by the latest vituperations of Dr. Tony Aidoo. His statement is an indictment on the presidency, and a shot in his own foot.
Indeed, he is saying by inference that president Mahama has no brains to reason out state policies, and is only beating about the bush. In fact his pronouncement encapsulates the general feelings in Ghana that the current NDC government is incompetent. They are only perfect in rigging election results, and not fit to govern.
The truth of the matter is that we need people who can think, and introduce well thought out policies and social interventions to alleviate the suffering of people of this country. The few that were introduced by the NPP government under JAK have deteriorated beyond recognition. This is so because nobody in the NDC government has the ability to think and reason, according to Dr. Tony Aidoo.
President Mahama keeps changing people from position to position but to no avail.
Are Ghanaians going to suffer like this under an incompetent president until 2016? God bless our homeland, and have mercy on us.

DEAR DR. TONY AIDOO AND THE READING PUBLIC OF GHANAWEB.COM,
TO RESPECTFULLY STATE THAT I HAD WORKED WITH THE CASTLE, IMPLEMENTATION AND MONITORING UNIT (IMU) OF CABINET DECISIONS FOR ALMOST SEVEN (7) YEARS AND ABOVE BEFORE I WAS GIVEN THE SCHEDULED OF THE ASSISTANT DIRECTOR-IN CHARGED OF THE THEN NEWLY CREATED SECRETARIAT OF MINISTERS OF STATE AT THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF GHANA AT THE CASTLE-OSU.
THAT BY IMPLICATIONS AND WITH THE PROCEDURE CABINET IS DEEM AS THE DECISION MAKING BODY. HOWEVER, IT IS A TRITE KNOWLEDGE THAT THE VARIOUS MINISTRIES AND DEPARTMENTS INITIATED THE POLICY IMPERATIVES PERSPECTIVES IN CONSONANCE WITH THE VISION OF THE PRESIDENT AND THE RULING PARTY IN GOVERNMENT AND IN THE INSTANT CASE H.E.PRESIDENT OF GHANA JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA AND THE NDC BETTER GHANA AGENDA.
THEREFORE AS THE HEAD OF THE MONITORING OF POLICY AT THE SEAT OF GOVERNMENT OR THE PRESIDENCY TO PURPORT AS THE ONLY THINKER AND POLICY MAKER IS TO BELITTLE THE ROLE OF THE CABINET.
THAT I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO PLACE ON RECORD THAT SOME POLICY INITIATIVES IMPERATIVES ARE EVEN INITIATED BY PERSONS OUTSIDE GOVERNMENT.
THAT THE PROCEDURE OF POLICY MAKING PROCESS IS NOT THE SOLE PRESERVED OF A SINGLE PERSON OR UNIT BUT TO BE SEEN AS COLLECTIVE AND PEOPLE WORKING TOGETHER TO PROMOTE THE QUALITY GOOD OF THE PEOPLE, THE TRUE ESSENCE OF POLITICS ITSELF.
THAT IT IS TIME GHANA TO PURSUE THE PATHWAY OF DISCOVERING POTENTIAL HIGH ACHIEVERS QUALITY HUMAN RESOURCES TO BE TAPPED FOR NATIONAL PUBLIC SERVICE AND TO CHANGE THE MODE OF RELIANCE OF ONLY THOSE WHO WERE GIVEN POLITICAL APPOINTMENT BEFORE WHICH IN ITSELF NOT A PROFESSIONAL RELATED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERTISE.
THAT THERE IS NOW THE NEED TO BLEND BOTH THE OLD POLITICIANS WITH NEW DISCOVERED HIGH ACHIEVERS FOR PUBLIC OFFICE TO HELP BUILD THE BETTER GHANA AGENDA.
IT IS BOTH PROFESSIONAL AND ACADEMICS RELATED HONESTY TO APPRECIATE ACHIEVEMENTS OF OTHERS THAT THE ORDINARY PERSONS OF THEIR COMMUNITY CANNOT ACHIEVE.
BUT TO PURPORT TO RENEGE AND TO NEGATE SUCH ACHIEVEMENTS BECAUSE OF SHARE ENVY AND PRIDE WOULD ONLY SERVE SELF DEFEATIST SYNDROME.
RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED.
GOD BLESS GHANA AND AMERICA.

"Policy Monitoring and Evaluation" -sounds like his PhD thesis. Tony is typical of these theorists who float in Ghana shouting insults to get political appointments. President Mills allowed him to create this fictitious Department and after 5 years of NDC is now discovering there were not even credible policies to monitor in the first place. How sad ! After discovering his shaky position, he is now a "born again" and exposing the incompetence that had bedevilled the DNC administration for the past five years. His "monitoring" produced GYEEDA and others that he vehemently defended. Isn't the honorable thing for him to do is to resign?; but no; as typical of most of us, he will sit doing nothing and collect his salary. This a very sad commentary.

At last someone is beginning to sound sensible in the NDC. We are dying under this clueless Government.
Need I say anymore? This is from deep within the cabal! The system is rotten to the core.
He is just being frank,I know deep inside him he is prepared to throw in the towel for Mahama.Atta Mills selected a wrong vice president,Kwasi Botchway would have done better.
Cluless, visionless and aimless. Mahama is only groping in the dark. Their only achievement: create, loot and share!
Tony! This is the truth all the wise people in Ghana have known since the beginning of the PNDC era - of which you were a champion.
In Kufour's eight years, we had a well-functioning national health insurance scheme, mass ...

A well dressed Tony Aidoo seems to have come off his insanity. He's making some sense here. I hope he stays clean and maybe, maybe, he can be a useful citizen of mother Ghana.
Still it makes me laugh. Where is Kola London, Nana Ansah and the rest? Are they now ready to accept that there is rot in the system. But Tony, don't cry. Sometime ago, you also called the shots.
Where is Kojo T? MIA? Hahahahaha

You will be exposed and recoup all the looted money or assets of mother Ghana by mother Ghana.

Well said!! This is a man who tells it all. Truth is one, is bitter but must be said. Its high time Ghanaians tell Mahama and NDC in the face that petty so-called 'smart' politics is destructive to Ghana and is USELESS!!
