The medical advice given will be even better informed if they use skype whenever possible. This way the patient can explain their ailments as well as give a visual inspection to the doctor online. They have been using this system in Australia for a number of years and it works very well

am pretty sure this is the best way we can do it in Ghana at this VERY MOMENT...dont forget the number of people who are computer literate and even the poor internet service in ghana...the phoneline is the best..its used ever ...

This very program was commended in Metro news paper in UK. It even advised the the government to study and adopt it. Good job Ghana and God bless the experts who design it.

This is an excellent initiative to use technology to improve healthcare delivery.

Given the severe pressure on our health budget, this is a cost-effective and efficient use of our health resources.

As with the NHIS, we must ensure that this noble initiative works for the benefit of our people.

It could conceivably revolutionise primary health care, especially in remote rural areas with poor health facilities.

It is interesting that recently the Metro newspaper here in London had an article recommending that the UK could learn from this Telemedicine scheme and apply it to the National Health Service.
