If his money is getting dried up then he better stop giving out prices. After-all no-one authorized him to institute that price giving stuff. His behavior makes me wonder if he is even a patriot of Africa.

Non of these presidents deserve the award. The one who came close to winning was former president Kufour. Mills was too weak a president who did not know why he was the president. Mahama has too many butterflies in his closet. The idea that he ripped-off the election and the corruption is weighing on him too heavy disqualifies him. Why are these head of states not trying to win that award? At least they can try if they see no harm in trying. I guess they see themselves no chance of winning because they are not truly honest.

Kufour didnt win it at the end of tenure. He made very little or no improvement to the Ghanaian wellbeing than he met it. This prize is perhaps the only one in the world that is result based.

The decision not to award the prize this year is hundred percent correct. I don,t think any government or ex-leader in Africa is qualify to win this award this year and the next decade. With all the abandone natural resources in Africa,we are still dying at sea trying to escape poverty and corruption. African leaders need more than that 5 million in a very short time when they take office so that can,t encourage them to abandone corruption. The price money could be use to support poverty reducing programmes like agriculture around Africa than throwing it in the bush in my opinion.
