NPP to be in power, it needs to be national in outlook and content. Just ask yourself Prof, why Aliu Mahama was treated shabbily by the Kufour administration. Talk to Harruna Attah, Dr. Majeed, Dr. Wahab, Arimeya and co. Be national and development oriented and victory shall follow.

This is difficult to believe. No one could think of winning presidential elections in only two regions and be content with the result unless he is very self-centered.
First, Akufo-Addo could have carried the majority votes in ONLY two regions because of the demographic concentration in those areas, especially in the Ashante Region. However, if you reverse the idea, that is, assuming the population of these regions to be small, it beggars belief that NPP doesn't seem to understand the extent to which this idea of winning in only two regions should be a headache;nightmare for Akufo-Addo who trails numerous questions on his shady personality and values.
The distribution of voter pattern clearly demonstrates that the overwhelming majority of Ghanaians don't believe in Akufo-Addo, taking that eveb his "Yen Akafuo" speech didn't stimulate good sentiments of other Akan populations in the Western and Brong Ahafo etc.
The guy didn't win, and it is time NPP begins thinking about how to revamp its image instead of remaining stunningly obdurate about the past elections. Personally, it is my belief Akufo-Addo can never again win elections in Ghana. Kufour and NPP's stewardship have blown the cover off NPP's hypocrisy and thievery. For now, NPP must do everything to hide its severely bruised and spooky face.
Item: WE now fully know you NPP so you will never again win elections even if you invent and erect a god to lead you.

If it is the modalities of the country's electoral system that caused the NPP's defeat, then they will remain in opposition forever. Was is not the same system in place when the NPP won 2 elections? Does the fact that most NPP members believed they won the election mean they really won? These type of logic by some of these NPP professors make me feel the need for our universities to overhaul their teaching faculties. What a poor logic by a professor?!!!!!

It does not take a doctorate degree in a meaningless profession to understand that foolishness and short sightedness does not pay anywhere.
If this Professor Amoako Baah at the height of his field did combine his book knowledge with common sense he may come to understand why the NPP and NDC take turns in screwing up Ghana and the moral compass of all Ghanaians including himself. Did it ever occur to Mr. Baah that it is the very imperfect and politically tainted electoral modalities as he chooses to describe the process that gave us President J.J. Rawlings, Kufour, Atta Mills and now John Mahama? The problem with Ghana, our motherland, is we love to stick our heads in the sand, continue to make mistakes, refuse to learn from past mistakes and think if we repeat our folly a million more times things will change. My advice to Professor Baah is this: if we are lucky someday, a once in a lifetime Ghanaian will come along in this wretched existence in Ghana who is blessed with wisdom, foresight and ideals such that we will vote for him or her not because of political party affiliation, tribal loyalties and or family connections. Mr. Baah should ask himself who has he voted for since reaching voting age who is not cut from the same tribe and or party as himself but because of wisdom. There is no amount of manipulation that can take away an honest vote.

One "professor" after another, queuing up to misinform about what was a poor electoral showing nationally for the NPP.
It is dangerous for the NPP to continue to deceive themselves this way. If they refuse to internally examine their own failings and continue to blame external loci of control for our elections, they will surely lose the next poll.
Many are the neutrals like myself who continue to sound this warning but they simply refuse to heed and when "educated" people lead this silly and false argument, then it is all the more worrying.
The saddest part of it is that they cannot provide the evidence to prove that their candidate actually "won the 2012 elections" even despite using the courts. When will they ever learn and stop this nonsense?
