If the truck driver in question is truly innocent or not at fault in this case and the minister and his entourage were the aggressors who erred, then the minister does not deserve to be a public servant let alone a serving minister of state and should be forced to resign or sacked for his misuse of his powers and the law of the land.
As I said, we need to know the facts but if the minister erred, and has unlawfully subjected another citizen of Ghana to undue punishment, he should pay dearly for it. We must not tolerate this type of behaviour by anyone and no one should be seen to be above the law of the land!!

However. the minister, his body guard has no right in physically assaulting the driver. If this is the norm in Ghana, then our understanding of HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES should be thrown out of the door.. The minister needs to apologize to the driver of the truck and actually pay for his medical care as a result of the severe beatings he was subjected to.
