I do not think that the president is on the right track. In the first place, why is he still roaming in America with this large entourage at the expense of the Taxpayers.
Secondly what happened to the Serious electricity outrages across the country. What about Water,Mosquitoes and the deliberate
impediment and frustration by those who
matters, associated with investing in the Country. What did you do about it ?.
Investors are more than just aware of the above problems in the Country. Therefore, the peace you site in the Country alone is not encouraging enough and nothing to talk about, though.
Having said that, the way forward is to help Ghanaians economically to empower them if you have good economic policies. The old systems of always expecting investors from outside is outmoded.Empower your people !
We read from this blog that some Ghanaian medical specialists and their foreign friends in America who have come together to visit Ghana to give treatment and teach free of charge were being frustrated by the Ghana Medical & Dental Council. These Specialists and their friends were buying their own air tickets etc.
The Medical & Dental Council request for a accreditation fees of $400-600 each.
The good Samaritans agreed to pay yet the council would still not allowed them to come to the help of the poor, weak, vulnerable and medical students in the Country. Why !
encouraging enough and nothing to talk abt.

Is Mahama still in the US? haahaha, he must love it there. Anyway, Ghanaians have the potential of carving the way to making this country great if our policy makers will streamline our tax laws and the bureaucracy associated with doing business. Every step one takes to do business is difficult. Bribery and corruption tops it all with officials responsible for approving certain business documents absolutely 'insane'. They act as if its in your interest to have those documents approved. Ghanaians are frustrated in doing business in Ghana, how does the president expect Ghanaians to convince investors into Ghana? He can't do it alone, so we say to the president, get your house in order and we will bring in the kinds of investors Ghana needs.

All the top brass is business were in New York when this clown was there, Bill Clinton was hosting the CFI conferences and all the top business executives the movers and shaker were there to meet other heads of states and their delegations, bi-lateral meetings and deals were brokered there. If you cannot get it done in NY then you are a non entity. Ghana with all its clout will not be hanging around in Georgia, one of the lower income states in the USA.
