That promotes controversy and national tension instead of national development and social cohesion.

Gabby has tried and failed to win power through the deligimization of state's instutitions. now he is getting into the EC composition. The interparty committee is an advisory committee, it has no consitutitional role in running elections; what is being suggested here is that the competition of the game be made to be part of the referees by a legislative instrument. This is insane; Please, this was not what caused the NPP the elections; you simply need to grow your base beyond two regions.

It is really reassuring and exciting to have someone like Gabby to develop the initiative to help clean the messy election process. The focus is to ensure corrupt-free elections. While rigging is a known problem in most third world countries, we in Ghana need to come up with strategies to systematise elections in post-petition Ghana.
The petition highlighted a tactical and administrative artillery of shortcomings which must NEVER be repeated. The live coverage excited high level of awareness hitherto unknown in the voting public. Crucial steps will have to be taken to obviate the need for future petitions as much as possible.
The pathway advocated by Gabby if taken, will help eliminate fraudulent underhand dealings, which have become the norm in recent Ghanaian elections.
Please let us come up with a solution to a significant problem by pressing the right buttons. This is the TIME to overhaul the process for our common good. A stitch in time saves nine.
Gabby and his team by their persistence are proving how concerned citizens can make a difference. We must not frown and turn our noses through various degrees against their suggestions. They must be commended by serious Ghanaians not condemned along party lines by political shortsightedness.
LONG LIVE OUR BELOVED GHANA.

WHOSE INITIATIVE? DON'T BE MISLED!EC is already poised for reforms. There is a context to Gabby's suggestions. And it is far from being his initiative! IPAC is yet to exploit its full potential. The National Peace Council did not wait for the Parliament Act before asserting its relevance! Those who undermine IPAC should not lecture us on how important it is to be backed by law!
