The issue of corruption at the Attorney general's office is not only about the minister of Attorney general and the president alone that we should expect to be invincible people at all areas to see and bring everything under control.

The people [workers] at the Attorney general's department should be good citizens who will on normal basis be ever ready to defend their loving nation Ghana, for without this patriotic spirit of love for Ghana they will always engage in bribery/corruption which will surely let our nation down economically as it has been occuring with the judgement debt matters like the following cases namely; Wayome, isofoton, drillship, Waterville and many others that are also in the pipeline.

All these happened not in the favor of our nation because our nation's workers including everybody do not have love for our nation, Ghana if not why should Mr Nerquaye Tetteh of the Attorney general's department who was the chief prosecuting officer that prosecuted the case of Wayome receive bribe of GHC400 million cedis from Wayome through Nerquaye Tetteh's wife's accounts. This could tell you all Ghanaians what these workers at the Attorney General's department are wickedly and selfishly doing. What about Mr Asemeni too at the legal department of the finance ministry doing? He also received bribe from Woyome. And you recently learnt of the K T Hammond with the over three million dollars vanishing money in hand over the selling of the drillship.

A typical example that God permitted everybody to know of how they who have been employed sold Ghana through their bribery and corruption on this matter of judgement debts. Many people have eaten out of this judgement debts.

People should not only see this as a matter of party politics, but should see it as a robbery which had involved many people. I will be grateful to thank our wise president Mahama who has set up this commission/committee headed by justice Appaw, the honest educated northerner to investigate these past deals that had caused damages to our nation's economy.

It is important to note that Usurla Owusu is not pointing finger to this Mahama government in particular as some of you do see it presently, but she is trying to open the eyes of the public that this is what the workers at the Attorney General's deparment are wickedly doing to our economy via corruption, that is why she referred to their time that as workers this behaviour never happened there. It can perhaps be true as with time things change.

Mr Alfred Ogbamey could also see that our workers at the Attorney general's department are very wicked, and therefore ought to be watched carefully if only we as people of Ghana want our nation stop losing monies to individuals and companies through this judgement debt syndrom.

This problem should as said earlier not be directed only to minister and president, but in wider scope be projected to cover all our people, meaning workers in every posts that they hold. It is basically sad to hear that people employed to defend Ghana in the ministry mentioned is rather selling it through bribery and corruption. Also everybody should note that all these crooks are lawyers employed by the Government to defend Ghana;- is Mr Nerquaye Tetteh and others not lawyers? Is Akuffo Addo also not a lawyer?, if you think of the drillship case that he Akuffo Addo failed to defend.

Let us try not to politicise every situation but rather help find solutions, because many people are involved in wrecking the nation's economy. All the administrations from 1992 till today will all be found guilty somewhere, that is why Mahama said the investigation should start from that date. Eventually Bravoo Mahama, and I wish you all the best for this move, and I know for sure solutions could arrived at.

This same indivdual used her 'special closeness' to certain personalities to acquire plum state bungalow,previously occupied by the Chief Pilot of our defunct national airline,Ghana Airways,who was denied the opportunity to buy this property he had lived in for several years. And this hitherto no-name lawyer,turned a special assistant to the AG,was able to acquire this plush real estate worth several thousand of pounds! Go figure, a real example of the kettle calling a pot black as you have rightly stated.

The foul-mouthed Owusu is indeed a rich one to talk having benefited from corruption in the shape of the dubious ownership of land or property, as the allegation stood. In all of this furore, Dr Raymond Atuguba must be wearing a permanent "I told you so!" smile. The whole law bloody fraternity was up in arms at his assertion that the profession was rotten and judges were corrupt and magistrates took bribes. He was ostracised and turned into a pariah in the law. Magistrates or judges or both would not have him in their court. Now it is indeed common knowledge government lawyers, like everybody see working for the government of Ghana, are on the take. Some clever ones amongst them must be regretting their part in vilifying Raymond Atuguba. The shameless Ursula Owusu has no contribution to make and if she has one, it isn't welcome - as we aren't on the subject of tribal bigotry, a passion she shares with Akadu Mensema of Pennsylvania and Ghanaweb. But I disagree that the phenomenon is a new development. Why all this hulabaloo about drift ship, judgment debt and the whereabouts of $24 million which happened when the NPP was in power and Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo was the A-G. It is alleged that that judgment debt was given by the UK court because the A-G at the time did not only stop lawyers pursuing the case but failed to put up a defence in court. So what is Ursula trying to tell us.... that this situation was born only when the NPP left office in 2009? Think and come again with further and better particulars

In the end Ghana was made forced sell our drill ship 511 to pay a whooping $19.5 as judgment debt to Societe Generale and the remaining ballance of $3.5 is still unaccounted for. The S-G later came to Ghana bought a huge plot land belonging the akufo addo's with the same stolen taxpayers monies. Shame onto these loud-mouthed npp nation property-grabbing wreckers.

Looking in retrospect at the extremely horrid string of scandals, the overwhelming corruption indulgence and mismanagement by NPP, you come to the conclusion those NPP thieves never thought they would relinquish power soon. That was the reason Jake scrambled in 2004 pre-empting the EC to announce Kufuor's presidential victory when they in fact lost the elections.

Yes Ursula should be the last person opening her big gob when NPP have done far worse things in the past.

In my opinion, this is the NPP's way of making so much noise and running down the current Govt and the AG department to cover up NPP's involvement in the GNPC ship sale scandal and its consequences.

Again this is where all discerning Ghanaians should start asking questions. What efforts did EOCO put into the same job the Sole Commissioner is doing now when it was asked to investigate all judgment debts by the late President Mills?

EOCO came up with ALFRED WOYOME, and ALFRED WOYOME alone. Now isn't it a disgrace to that unit (EOCO) that there are a whole host of Judgment debts and they didn't investigate those at all.

This should make Ghanaians realise that they was something fishy with all this Woyome Woyome issue.

If the allegations are indeed true, I ask do officials of the A-G's department allegedly involved in this sordid acts have compunction? I wonder the kind of country we are building with our obsession for money that appears to override all that we have to do to make Ghana better a nation. Doctors would go on strike because of money for weeks and patients die and later they get the money but lives are lost. University and other categories of teachers go on strike for weeks because of money and like other categories of workers who go on strike, they receive their salaries at the end of the month. Governments over the years have proved weak in handling issues of no work no pay and it is high time this government begun to let us now if you do not work, you would not be paid.
I hope when people involved in the alleged scandal are identified for prosecution, no traditional leader or man of God goes to plead for them.
Government must consider hiring lawyers and even judges from the UK, Botswana and South Africa in handling sensitive cases in the AG' Department. The integrity of the judiciaries of these countries is very high and when employed they would transfer it here. Kwame Nkrumah was utterly wrong in suggesting that the world would see the African handling their affairs properly. It is a shame and as I send this the alleged pepertrators of this crime are in church worshipping God. The irony of it.
