    Why has Ghana waited so long before considering the study of the Norwegian oil industry.

    The chamber of Commerce must let the public know what it learns from Norway.

    Yes it does seem like an act after the event. This kind of fact finding should be done before oil flows to ensure that good practice is built in to operations right from the start.

    I thought a government delegation undertook such a trip a couple of years ago with suggestions that the Norwegian model, which ensures utilisation of the revenue for the benefit of its people, will be a template for Ghana.
