Now hear this"Brigadier-General John Bosco Guyiri,Chief Fire Officer,on Friday said the controversial uniforms were meant for cadets and fire volunteers" Is he trying to pre-empt the outcome of the probe? Hear him again,"As management appreciates the role of the media in bringing to the fore,issues of public interest for corrective measures,it will be very much appreciated if we could wait for the outcome of the committee's work" I have a question for the Fire Chief,If he can comment and try to offer reasons why the uniforms were procured,when the very committee he is referring to has not finished it's work what right has he to stop others from commenting on the case? In any case,appointing his subordinate to probe the affair is,to my mind a mistake.The affair must be probed by an independent committee.
The Fire Chief must not be allowed to interfere with the probe.Who knows whose hand may be deep in soup?

Anybody implicated in such crook deal will not be dealt according to any laid down Code of Conduct and related conditions of the service but referred to the police and be treated as a criminal and made to face the full laws of the land. Period!!!

Haaabah!!! where did we go wrong as people and country to merit such wholesome embarrassments as if crime and corruption has become officially recognized institution.
