There is nothing like Dutch Disease. If there is increase in exploitation of natural resources and a decline in manufacturing sector means, our leaders are looking elsewhere instead of planning to put the money into good use.
Our leaders are absolutely clueless and without any vision, the best option is to take the money and stash it somewhere.

The fact that national income from Oil and Gas has outpaced cocoa does not mean that we are moving toward the infliction of "Dutch Disease.". The other indicator should be whether cocoa, gold, food production an our traditional economic sector are keeping pace. The question is whether or not we are expanding the economy so that we do not depend solely on oil and gas. Given the skills level in the country, oil and gas will not become our sole source of income.
