The consequence of MAHAMA's behaviour is what all Ghanaians are experiencing now:

By merging the districts, funds will be available for infrastructure and social developments. Also merge Ministries to release funds for the numerous ministers and deputy ministers into the local economy. Thirdly allow the MPs, principal secretsries, head of departments and government co-operations heads hire their own places and pay for water, gas, electricity, cars and the petrol for their cars. Even in the US the congressmen use their pay to rent appartments to do their jobs and US is much richer than Ghana.
We need a leader who is bold and wise to carry out very improtant change like those listed above and the local economy will improve dramatically.
The British left us with this old system which they don't use any more. We need to act now or keep quiet and stay in our misery with our visionless leaders.
