So what next? We all know who, why, when, where and how government money is stolen. The onus now lies with the Mahama government to move into action to arrest the situation. Failure to do so only goes to confirm that people in government have their hands dirty and therefore cannot clean the mess. But let us not worry, the mess will be cleaned along with the people who planned and benefited from the mess. We live to see

During kuffours administration Paa kwesi Ndoum was the minister for public administration and Ghana got loan from the World bank to modernize the public sector by effectivizing the public sector to move from stone age keeping of files to Electronic filing and sharing of information among the public institutions. If l remember the loan was about 47 million dollars where did that Money Went? this unpatrotic people still want to be president of Ghana, what a shame.when you go to any public institutions in sweden every public institution have it information, files online aaccesseble to the police,CID,BNI and other government agencies so whenever anybody of the government wants information the just go in there and get the information they are looking for called National Data or information Bank.Paa kwesi did not do it for mother Ghana because he and the elites in Ghana want to steal from poor mother Ghana.

Sir, the problem is that most of these high positions which should go to people with high standards of professionalism and experience are just showered unto political friends and sympathisers and on tribal grounds. It is no secret that most of these people have no knowledge or a clue about their job descriptions i.e what they are really supposed to do or achieve for the nation. It is the 'square pegs in the round hole' practice mentality. An experienced person would know who he/she is accountable to and responsible for and would effectively check those lines within their professional integrity and practice without just reacting to 'yes sir- no sir'-acting brainlessly like a zombie to satisfy their inefficient and irresponsible masters. Ghana needs people with knowledge, experience and have the nation at heart should be bold enough to teach and educate others in their work places including, their bosses. Yes, it is a challenge but if we have to advance and progress then our attitudes must change to a positive note. If a teacher or a father or a leader does not know what is the right thing to do or has not got any knowledge about his work obviously he has nothing to teach his colleagues or pupils so the rot will continue!. Interestingly, because of these bad practice in our system, qualified and experienced and professionals shy away from our work sectors because they do not want their professional integrity to be taken for granted or traded for sycophancy and frustration. Funny enough, we are the first to make references to how other countries operate to achieve and maintain progress but we never practice the good things which would enhance our advancement from them. Our government and some private sectors do not employ experienced professionals either they the bosses do not want to be challenged. They simply like the 'yes sir, no sir' employees who, thy can easily manipulate and order around.

There are about 2000 Ghanaian doctors in Europe alone; not to mention the rest of the world. Ghana has got enough professionals to turn the country into a land of 25 million millionnaires but hey it is not to be.
We are rather playing the politics of poverty, with leaders and governments working as the planning, looting and sharing brigades at the expense of the rest of the population.
This is our lot and we deserve the leaders we vote into power legally or illegally

Who do you blame for all this lack of accountability and care for the system. When Nkrumah was given the mandate to govern the country instead of building strong institutions to manage it such that the individual Ghanaian can think for himself and others, he made himself tin-God and the controller of everything to the extent that without his say-so nothing gets done.
This situation led to the average Ghanaian always having to look up to government for the simplest of directives for running all state structures. There was no autonomy. The police had to take orders from Nkrumah, the army had to take orders from him the ministries and every division of state has to get orders from this single leader, this is what brought about corruption because this one man cannot oversee the smooth running of all the facets that make up the so called state. There is what is known as division of labour but not with Nkrumah, he was Mr know it all - the ultimate dictator

the Chief Executive Officer of African Automobile Limited, Mr. Mohammed Hijazi, has petitioned the Judgment Debt Commission to help him recover GH¢562,445,583.45 the Ministry of Employment and Manpower Development owed his company.
According to him, African Automobile sued the government and was awarded GH¢16.5 million judgment debt in July 2010, which was not paid. The interested it has generated, plus the principal, has shot the figure to GH¢562,445,583.45 as at 31st August 2013.
Mr. Hijazi filed the petition after he appeared before the Commission in respect of various judgments debts his company took from the various government institutions for the supply of vehicles, maintenance and services. The petition indicated that all the monthly charges and interest are compounding the balance, and that if by the end of September it has not been cleared, the amount would jump to GH¢618,690, 141.
“Since the date of judgment, we made relentless efforts to secure payment of the debt, but regretfully, without success, hence this appeal to you for assistance to secure payment in the interest of all.
“In support of our appeal, we attach hereto copy of a Memorandum of the Office of the Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning to the Honourable Minister of the Ministry, dated 19th October, 2011, asking him to authorise payment of the judgment amount of GH¢16,565,396.22 due for payment on 31st July, 2010.
“With the application of the statutory interest, the amount due for payment becomes GH¢511,314,166.77 at 31st July, 2013, GH¢562,445,583.45 at 31st August 2013, and GH¢618,690,141.79 at 30th Sept, 2013.

At this point of every happenings in relation to the judgement debt, one could understand that all that we are reading is to inform all of us that this the way they, the politicians managed to eat so that they can meet their financial budget.
The solution should be what steps and measure ought to be taken to stop our nation from sharing tears of sorrow financially. In a simple way a wise man may say the politicians of this nation are empty barrels who only specialised in abusive language politics. They never feel the pain and the shame the nation goes through, just because they do understand that Ghana is not their property. There is no patriotic spirit in them.
