I do have an issue with the conduct of parliament, my beef here is how the agreement was passed "Dr. Akoto Osei sought to draw to the attention of the house on certain aspects of the agreement that required further consultations and amendment before its passage.
Dr. Akoto Osei left the chamber to confer with the Majority leader Benjamin Kumbuor but before he could get back into the chamber, the agreement had been passed."
So the majority leader and Dr. Akoto Osei were denied their constitutional responsibility. This is outrageous and very irresponsible, are we practicing democracy in Ghana at all? The Honorable is contributing to the process, steps out with the majority leader and the credit agreement is passed, only in Ghana.
