  I seriously question the state of minds of NDC apologists. Just on WHAT basis would a sound minded patriotic individual will follow a "party" borne out of unneccesary blood shed and loot?

And do you know what he was going to do next after coming back home from Hanoi? You better shut up, he Dr. Nkrumah didn't know your people because he had stayed outside Ghana for a long time and when he accepted them and found them giving too much trouble he had another thought about them.Akrantie is a healthy meat than a pig who eat's human faeces, if you can't match somebody you start giving names to the person and nothing will change we survived Rawlings brutal rule and still we are who we are.Long live Akans.

  Though this could be a very unfortunate accident, it is the direct result of the indiscipline on Ghanaian roads as well as Ghanaians' poor time keeping. I understand the GBA programme was late and the driver was probably speeding to Accra to make time for his scheduled appointment with the President. Knowing that they had such foreign dignitary with heavy engagement for the day as guest, GBA should have ensured that they were on time.
  
  Those in authority must enforce roads and traffic regulations and ensure sanity on Ghanaian roads before one day, the President is lost in a road accident due to carelessness. May God forbid.

  I'm surprised the Government is acting and responding to this accident as if this is the first of its kind in Ghana. Thousands have lost their lives to such RECKLESS DRIVING and FAULTY VEHICLES on Ghana roads than any disease in Ghana. We have always acted with indifference when this happens but ask the families and loved ones who have lost somebody and they will tell you their stories of pain. Till this nation becomes serious about maintenance (roads and trucks/cars), this embarrassment will not be the last.

Because, lack of critical thinking as the Majority Leader in Parliament, Dr. Benjamin Kumbour said there is nobody thinking in Ghana. No projective thinking in none of our LEADERS. Bad ROADS, DUMSOR DOMSOR, DRINKING WATER problems. Everywhere you look there is problems. Bad governance as you said, looking out for their own stomach without thinking it will affect them in future. Backward thinking has become the new NORM in Ghana.

  I am now a proud owner of a Ghana driving licence.
  I am not proud of this though.

  Ghanaians copy everything Western or European for example pants sagging. Why can't the Dept of Motor Vehicle(l don't what it is in Ghana)copy and introduce the system of written and driving skills tests before drivers licenses are issued. This will go a long way to eliminate unqualified drivers from our roads.The Dept should also update the current driving study material. The roads markings should be updated and old drivers should be given refresher course before their licenses are renewed. Its time to copy the good driving habits to reduce the senseless accidents on our roads. l also suggest more strongly the introduction of issuance of traffic violation tickets with appropriate fines and suspensions of licenses depending on the severe nature of the traffic offence for example DWI(Driving While Intoxicated). Over to you Joe Lartey.
