Africa is not developing because we Africans always want to maintain the status quo, our culture and reasoning don't allow us to question authority and to be proactive in improving things.
Afari-Dyan's incompetence the the call for him to resign (the man even deserves imprisonment for nearly plunging Ghana into a civil war) yet people have politicised the whole incompetence issue and using partisan drums to avert the truth.

THAT THE CONSTITUTIONAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED BY THE EC IS JUST LIKE THE FUNCTIONS PERFORMED BY A LAWYER AS A SPOKE PERSON OF THE CLIENT AND EC IS THE SPOKES PERSON OF GHANA VOTERS WILL EXPRESSED AT THE BALLOT BOX THROUGH FREE,FAIR AND TRANSPARENT ELECTIONS AND TO DECLARE THE WILL OF GHANA VOTERS EXPRESSED THROUGH THE BALLOT BOX AND CANNOT DO CONTRARY AND FOR ANYBODY TO PURPORT TO HOLD CONTRARY IS A SELF DEFEATIST MECHANISM.
THAT NOW THAT THE GHANA 2012 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS ARE OVER IT IS MY RESPECTFUL APPEAL TO HON.GENERAL SECRETARY OF THE NDC, THE NDC GOVERNMENT AND MEMBERS OF GOODWILL OF NPP AND OTHER POLITICAL PARTIES AND BOTH GOVERNMENTS OF GHANA AND AMERICA TO REVISIT THE $547 MILLION POVERTY REDUCTIONS GRANT GIVEN TO GHANA DURING THE NPP GOVERNMENT ERA BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF UNITED STATES OF AMERICA INCLUDING THE $10 MILLION ISSUE RAISED "WHETHER OR NOT AMERICA GAVE ME THROUGH GHANA UNDER NPP GOVERNMENT ERA $10 MILLION WHEN HON.NANA AKUFO ADDO WAS THE FOREIGN MINISTER AND HON.JOE GHARTEY WAS GHANA ATTORNEY GENERAL THAT THERE IS THE URGENT NEED TO IMPRESS ON THEM TO TALK AND ALSO TO CLARIFY THE POSITIONS ON THE ISSUES TO HELP BRING A CLOSURE TO THE ISSUE AND ALSO FOR JUSTICE TO PREVAIL IN THE MATTER.

The disposition of NPP is very shameful. The saddest thing in all this is the way the Ex-president, instead of calling the party to order, has jumped in the fray. Leaders worth their salt are expected - as the tittle denotes- to lead and not allow themselves to be led. Mr. Kufuor , unfortunately seems to be allowing himself to be swayed by the extremists in that party. "ONUKPA BE gee lo?" as the Gas would put it.

The moderates in the party should not allow these boisterous functional executive members of the party to ruin NPP. As a mater of urgency, this present crop of officers are the cause of the two recent defeats the party has suffered. They therefore have no business trying to shift the blame on any any external body.

It would be in the interest of everyone, more especially the party if the Ex-president would quit being led by the few trouble makers and stamp his feet to redeem NPP´s image.

In 1992 the NPP boycotted the parliamentary elections. At that time the electoral process was not transparent enough to guarantee free and fair elections. President Rawlings then treated the opposition with disdain. The following year realizing the impact of opposition not being in parliament. He said it was about time government begins dialoguing with opposition. That is the benefit of the boycott of 1992. If NPP had accepted the electoral process as it stood in 1992, we wouldn`t have had transparent ballot boxes. At that time there was not even such thing as a voter`s ID-card and the black wooden ballot boxes were standing in the class room. The boycott of the NPP, resulted in the American government bringing in the International Federation of Electoral System to begin the process of our electoral reformation. Even then President Rawlings said government had no money for transparent ballot boxes, government had no money for photo ID. So he only wanted do it for urban areas. But the international commitee brought in photo ID and transparent ballot boxes for the whole country.

In the 2004 elections the NDC challenged the election results at the supreme court. Mills and Rawlings boycotted the inauguration of President Kufuor. Victor smith then announced they wouldn`t even watch it on TV.

Prior to the elections in 2008 Mills warned that the NDC would not entertain any attempt by the NPP to steal the verdict of the people again.He warned the nation to expect mayhem if the party suspects the results of the December polls were rigged in favour of the NPP. He threated to turn Ghana into Kenya if elections were rigged in favour of the NPP.

Your NDC even boycotted the state of the nation address by President Kufuor in 2007. Needless to mention the numerous times when they boycotted parliament as well.

After listening to Afari Gyan in the SC only a fool will let Gyan be a comissioner in anything. He ask the polling agents to sign paper and when they didnt he is still supporting them.
Leaders dont behave the way Gyan cinducted himself at supreme court. Anybody to see Gyan the chairman of EC come 2016 elections, will say how stupid ghanaians are.

The petitioners has shown ghanaian all the loop hole in our Electoral Comission lead by Afari Gyan. If he is the boss and didnt know all those things mention where happening, who can he fool it would have again.
It is not NPP or NDC thing, its Ghana democracy is what we talking about. So Aseidu should not make it Political.
The petition by Nana Addo had nothing to do with NDC or John Mahama. John Mahama was made our president on 4 january 2013 by Ghana Supreme Court. Those stupid people who dont know the Supreme Court decision can never be change by anybody or group of people.
Supreme Court is not a human being and Ghanaians sgould know that. SC cant change anything it has already decided.
The Judges working for the Supreme Court are not Supreme Court,so whats Supreme Court decides something no judge can overturn that decision. No body will ever see the Supreme Court it only make rules that are unturnable. Its like god and death.

They claim they want foreign investment, but yet they devise schemes to rip off cash from foreigners who come here to look at what Ghana has to offer, they did this by this foreigner ID card, which they made them pay 120 USD for. NDC keeps the bank loan interest so high that the average Ghanaian cannot afford to borrow to put inventory in their businesses, purchase autos, homes etc. Interest rates in other countries are around 5 to 9 percent, what is Ghana, 20 to 32 percent. Talk about stifling the economy. NDC talks about health, but they turn the water off all the time so that people cannot wash and keep clean. They tell food vendors to wash their hand before preparing food, but yet there is no water for them to do so. NDC complains about pollution from people using the water ways for bathrooms. But yet they let landlords build and rent housing with no running water, no bathrooms, no kitchens. Just a bare room with poor or no electric either. Hell this is how farmers keep their livestock. NDC, NPP and all these political parties need to stop bullshitting and start doing.
