I am always happy to hear about Ghanaian citizens getting together for a good course. Lets keep the Spirit of unity flowing. Together we can build a better nation. Long live Ghana and long live the President of Ghana.

Good. But it's not Ghanaian citizens getting together. It's Ewes in North America namely Ghanaians, Togolese, Beninois getting together. Still good news.

Another wasted jamboree. 3.4 million dollars worth of donations? In your dreams. The whole event is waste of time. It is an avenue for illicit sexual relations and juju challenges.

That said, the Electoral Commission did not elect president rather members of the Council of Representatives did so and also Mr Kobla Agbanyo did not attend this year's event as stated in the report.

Corney, you should have told him that the $3.4m worth of medic equipment had already been donated, lifted to Ghana and installed in the hospitals in Ghana many years ago. So, it is not anyone's one dream which he didn't believe, even though the news report put that in the past. I was in Norway then but I made a $100 donations towards that project.
With some vigour injected, CEANA and similar town/school/ethnic/regional organisations can make a big difference in changing the underdevt situation back home, as some are indeed doing. Problems are, among others, the lack of patriotism and people being too tight with their dough.

PS: I see black Americans have moved to Ghana and former a Twi language course online across the globe. Ewes it is your turn. For a language to survive it must be vibrant and growing.
I hear to attend C.E.A.N.A. monthly meetings in Chicago an Ewe must invite other Americans personally. If correct, such is what helps keep Africans collective economic growth that would truly benefit Africa to a minimum. It is time to be democratic in a US society Africans. Closed-hand mindsets fail everyone.
