You call Morocco poors and drug traffickers (sic). Just compare economic development and human index statistics between Morocco and Ghana and you will swallow your words. Even the average person in Morocco lives up to 77 of age whereas the average Ghanaian reaches only 66. Moreover, with a population of a little over 30 million, Morocco's economy (174 billion in Purchasing Power Parity terms)is over twice that of Ghana. (about 85 billion). This gap pertains despite Ghana being endowed with Gold, Cocoa, diamonds, etc. I stayed in Casablanca for over two weeks and also got the chance to visit Rabat and elsewhere. The very vibrancy of the two cities lures one into believing that one is in Europe. If you compare the smooth traffic flow in Casablanca, a city of about 3 million, to that of Accra which has a similar population, you will wonder if there is something wrong with Ghana. Please, Morocco has a lot to offer Ghana, so stop insulting that noble country.

The question still remains "Why Morocco?" Siam, you will stoop to lick anything; I am sad for you! Morocco has nothing to offer Ghana, they see themselves as arabs. Are you sure you spent two weeks in Casablanca?

The reality is that there are plenty of developing countries that are ahead of Ghana. If you have an opportunity to study in one of these places why not? The world is now flat. You can be easily born and raised in one place and end up in another. In fact, sometimes someone can go to a an economically weaker country and excel due to lack of competition.

I have seen first hand, people coming from India,Pakistan,Morroco, Egypt to United States that gets recruited for high paying jobs in the U.S. Heck, companies pay their Visa Fees. I have never seen any ghanaian between 22-35 that went to KNUST or Legon been offered such jobs. As matter of fact, chances are you will end up doing remedial work at community colleges. Most ghanaians who are in community college in U.S are Legon and KNUST graduate. So I dont blame these students going out of the country. A friend of mine cousin finished Legon in Ghana. But when you sit her down in a room which i was preparing her for an entry level position jobs. She was all over the place. Doesn't even sound like a University graduate.

They should come home. No taxers money is going to be giving to them. After all when they complete their studies with taxpayers money. They will come home and go on strike, stealing from poor, and making themselves as if they are kings. It is a time government should stop all these foolishness and concentrate on our universities, polytechnics and other institution to help build the country and stop give poor peoples money to their friends children.

First of all; most Ghanaians do not understand these bilateral Scholarship agreements! Thing is that the Gov't of Ghana does not pay the Tuition fees and in some cases Accomodation for the Gh students but rather the host gov't does all these for free. All the Gh Gov't does is to probably send montly stipends(arnd USD300) to these students. Now, the main problem is that most times Embassy Officials sit on the money or some instances subtract some of the cash!!! Comparatively, Universities in Russia,Turkey,Serbia,Romania,New-Zealand, China are far ahead of our Knust and Legon! I am writing from experience since I had the opportunity to study in KNUST and also had the benefit of a Gov't Scholarship abroad some 5yrs ago. Our school system is all chew and Pour and Nothing practical to do. We also spend time paying unnecessary fees in Ghana! We better sit up before Gh students starts honouring scholarships to Togo,Benin and Zimbabwe!!!
