MRS.HANNAH OWUSU-KORANTENG,we are all behind you in pressing home, the need for a REVIEW ON GHANA'S MINING LAWS.
Nobody will do this except patriotic people like you.
I am shocked, nobody is making any comment on such an important issue you have put forth.
THAT SHOWS PEOPLE DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE FUTURE OF OUR CHILDREN.
GOD BLESS YOU,FOR TAKING SUCH A MEANINGFUL STANCE AS WELL AS ILLUMINATING OUR KNOWLEDGE,ON THE RIGHT THING GHANA HAS TO BE DOING,BUT TURNING DEATH EARS ON THEM.
I will always go with anyone who is for GHANA,OUR MOTHERLAND.

When your leaders are clueless and corrupt there is no way the country can progress. Our gold and oil are being carted away while we get pacified by a few crumbs.

Yes, we need all those mining contracts to be reviewed and modified to the benefit of Ghana. We should also buy back at the price the corrupt Sam Jonah and the NPP sold Ghana's 50%share of the Ashanti Goldfield. Can you image the profit Ghana could have made with Gold prices going through the roof in recent years? Sam Jonah sold out Ghana for his selfish means and he got compensated by the Ashanti goldfield company and got knighted by the Queen of England for screwing Ghana.

Why are people not focused on the vast majority of damage caused in the country which is by illegal mining? This is just taking cheap immoral shots at easy targets and serves nobody. Do illegal miners put in infrastructure and spend millions on schools? Do they pay any tax at all?
