"WILL ANY JUDGE TAKE HIS CHECK TO BANK WITHOUT SIGNING AND STILL BE GRANTED HIS MONEY BY THE BANK?"
If the NPP thought Presiding Officers not signing the Pink Sheets would allow their candidate to use the back door to the presidency, they must think again.
Even though the Presiding Officers are expected to sign, there already exists a regulation at the EC that, failure to sign the result sheet by a Presiding Officer at a particular polling station will not invalidate the said result, so far as it has been signed by accredited Party Agents assigned to that polling station.
How can the signature of one person cancel the votes of hundreds of people who spent their time and traveled to polling stations to cast their votes?
By the way, the surprising thing is that, even though some pink sheets where Nana Addo won were not signed by Presiding Officers, he did not ask for the annulment of those results. He only asked for polling stations where President Mahama won but not signed by Presiding Officers to be annulled. What a hypocrite!

A quick decision could have been better.Like other countries with similar problems, our SC should be forced by the constitution,to make such a ruling in the shortest possible time( 2 weeks)The inauguration of the Prez. should be after the ruling. Our economy suffers much when such a ruling takes a long time.I hope that our law makers act now.

Ghana has reaffirmed its political leadership in Africa. Our beloved country remains the beacon of hope for the continent's democratic future. For our ability to allow cooler heads to prevail following the most important Supreme Court's ruling on a very important issue, Ghana has successfully marketed its democratic credentials. We have demonstrated to the community of nations that there is no turning back on democracy in Ghana. Let peace continue to reign in the land of gold.

People of Ghana, we got to be proud of ourselves. We have proved to the world that we are not savages. May God continue to bless us all, and may we continue to shine to all of the Continents of Africa.

I am very proud to be a Ghanaian for the fact that by God's grace we are understanding the concept of democracy. I know we still have a long way to go but eventually we will get there as Rome was not built in a day.

This is the time for Ghanaians to put our differences, ethnicities and tribalism aside and embrace the great potential in individuals to move the nation forward. I believe in one nation, one people, common vision and God’s people. Is about time we put proper structures in place for our children’s children. Just imagine the City I used to live called Takoradi, is now saturated with Europeans, Australians, Canadians and Americans. If there’s no potential in Ghana, why would they be in our Country? Follow Ghanaian countrymen; let us put my energy, wisdom, knowledge and skills to build our motherland Ghana. There’s nowhere like home. Sam Kwesi Hanson (MSc SW, BSc (Hons) BIT) London, UK
