It is about time Akomea and his clique stopped embarrassing the NPP with this 'can't do no wrong' attitude. Not only does it portray the NPP as a foolhardy, arrogant elites' Party whose members never admit wrongdoing, but it also makes it seem the Party condones violence, and offers its opponents amunition to attack it as retaining the bomb-throwing legacy of its UP progenitor. In instances like this where the fact of the matter is so obvious, the only wise thing to do is to admonish all to wait for the proof of whose voice was really on the tape. But to assert that the contents that all could listen to does no pose any threat or amounts to nothing is most insulting and embarrasses the NPP.

Great Communication gurus in such an august organization must know which utterances need to be protected, or spinned and which to apply effective damage control on without denying its very nature.

The rest of Ghanaians are not fools to be so easily taken in, and treated like zombies who only have to believe what any Party's apparatchik tells us without trusting our own judgment of the utterances we hear from the latter. It is most disingenuous for Akomea to claim there is nothing wrong with the content on the tape. What we can't take as valid until proven is the ownership of the voice. But we understand and recognize the impropriety of the content, and Akomea must not patronize us.

If the voice is proven to be Awuku's, unqualified apology would be immediately needed. Citing Baba Jamal's alleged misguided utterances as some excuse or parameter to treat this comment is totally a puerile attempt to refute it.

If Jamal's was suspected to have been a doctored piece, it does not automatically make any similar tapes doctored, too. Therefore, every similar tape or utterance from all sources ought to be seriously investigated.

This is nothing strange to Ghanaians. The NDC is noted for their crazy schemes and fabrications. Any sensible being will know that this is a fabricated thing; it's a plot to annoy the Supreme Court Justices, and have them hate the NPP, just moments or days to when they'll give the verdict.

I don't blame the NDC; some NPP supporters don't seem to think deep and realise that there's a serious case before the Supreme Court and that NDC can device all sorts of tricks to trap their enemy. Sammy Awuku after being warned and banned from the Supreme Court for his initial behaviour or utterances, should wisely stay away from the media. But strangely he won't listen to advice.

The more you get busy with the media, the more you expose yourself to these kinds of traps. My advice is that stay away from the media and avoid being trapped and all kinds of NDC's dirty tricks etc. It's just common sense!

Even Asiedu Nketia who's noted for talking nonsense has grow wise; you hardly hear his voice these days. People must learn to be wise. The NDC is "Sasabonsam Party" and can do everything unthinkable on this planet, just to destroy those that they perceive as threats to their losing party.
