  Education is meant to liberate and equip with civilised conduct. Our leaders often emerge from these institutions! Once upon a time student clubs, faith-based clubs helped to fill the deficit. What are we getting from NUGS through WASU to AASU? When even university dons fail to provide leadership, when pastors fail to lead, when at this early age material gain becomes paramount why won't our search for good governance take a longer route!!!Students wake up and help yourselves for Ghana and Afria.This is your moment.   WHY WOULD ONE BE FIGHTING TO SERVE? THEY RENDER NO SERVICE,RATHER THEY ENGAGE IN 'CHOP-CHOP'. THIS CHOP-CHOP BUSINESS STARTS FROM THE UNIVERSITIES AND ENDS IN PUBLIC LIFE ESPECIALLY IN POLITICAL OFFICE

  This is very shameful- is this the kind of future leaders we have??? I have been a student leader myself at national level but i think as we continue to ting about putting some sanity into our national politics our students should at least be learn not to misbehave. God save Ghana if these young polictians end up in national politics

  What is the use of this NUGS at all? It has only been grounds for training unscrupulous politicians. NUGS has been part of the problems our country is facing.

  I hope they aren't the few intellectually lazy students, some who managed to get into the university with fake/false certificates and by the influence of their political godfathers and rich parents. Most of this irresponsible students use the Student Union as their training grounds for their future selfish, indiscipline and lawless careers. In Ghana the Student Union is only known for strikes and nothing else. No agenda to collaborate with relevant agencies or stakeholders for a better agenda for Ghana.
