I just read that Ghana will be exporting about 200 000 metri tons of maize as the supply has exceeded local demand. So how come maize prices increasing even though there is no demand? Unless we are fixing the prices or fa ...

I just read that Ghana will be exporting about 200 000 metri tons of maize as the supply has exceeded local demand. So how come maize prices increasing even though there is no demand? Unless we are fixing the prices or farmers are hanging on to their produce! Eish I thought economics 101 was easy easier to understand, but maybe not in Ghana's market!
