Even though I do not share his view I understand what the experienced coach is saying,it is often more dangerous when a team is playing another team which is an underdog.We only have to stay calm and defeat them.

What LeRoy thinks is not what the outcome would be because the last time this coach sat and thought of inviting players to a whole AFCON Tournament, he invited over 4 injured players. It wasn't that the country lacked fit players at that time. Therefore, what LeRoy thinks can't be taken as a final result. Someone who thinks clearly, wouldn't have done that.

This is not a match only thinking can bring victory. In order words, confidence, determination, stamina, proper game plan, proper execution of the plan, and the skills of the players will be a big factor in this match.

i also think so. there will be no point in time any of the zambian players will display a selfish instinct. but ghana players will do. djan, badu, etc. again when it comes to efficiency, trust the zambians. however, expect badu, wakaso, afful, nkoom, to display some stray passes and sometimes poor ball control. expect zambia to rely massively on team work, quick football, fast on the ball.
however, provided kwesi appiah will put his first very efficient players on the pitch zambia will be lucky to draw the match.

What I am really concerned about is the country will be facing in the final phase play off...especially when you take into consideration that Egypt, Senegal and possibly Burkina Faso are all unseated countries.

The Zambians are focused. Most of their players are local players and this will help their preparation so much. They have nothing to lose and they are not going to play under any pressure.
The worst thing that can happen to any Army on the battlefield is to be surprised by one's enemy. To avoid being surprised, it is necessary to show respect for your opponent and prepare for him accordingly. For instance, even if you are going to play Tahiti, you prepare as if you are going to play Spain.
Since our team is made up mainly of players who play outside; it means we cannot have long camping like the Zambians. But that is not a problem if the players themselves see the urgency of the match and put themselves in top shape.
We have to prepare well and we have to field players who are fit. Our team is strong already but with the availability of Dede and KPB, we can make the team even stronger. But most importantly, the coach who is closer to the players than we their supporters, should be able to know who is fit to play and this is non-negotiable. If we are able to produce at least the form that saw us beating Sudan and Lesotho away, Zambia cannot stand us at home.

His passing and movement was excellent. He played like Shaun Wright Phillips or Kieron Dyer (Swansea). I love his play.......but this is the problem the coach has. People will see the same player playing the same game, and all of them will have a different opinion, but the coach has to pick someone. For instance, I dont like Awusu Abeyie at all, but some people here love his play..... I dont rate Jordan Ayew, but others love him.... its a difficult job for the coach

I've watched our matches with Zambia where we lost to them. Their strategy was to neutralize our midfield and cut off the link between the and our forward line. Meanwhile the Zambians always capitalize on our ineffective defence line, most of whom won't die for Ghana by blocking off Zambia's shot at goals. To win, we'll have to play totally as ONE complete unit and find solutions to how to play an effective fluid and fluently potent midfield, capable of moving pushing our forwards in their bid to score goals and falling backwards to defend.

Our aim is to beat them by a 2-0 margin. If there're cracks in their defence set-up, we should be able to utilise the chances that may fall our way to score more goals. We should play a water-tight defence, a fluid midfield and a forward line made of imaginations or creativity. That way, we'll not be playing under any bogus game. Let's play it simple, tight and creative. That's all. Zambia is beatable 120%. Meanwhile, I'm not the coach, neither am I trying to be one. Coach Akwasi Appiah is the man in charge. He knows what he's doing.

In this match, we shouldn't fail! We shouldn't get carried away though; our players should be cool and focused! Live it up twinkling Black Stars; the sky is the limit! Go get it and make yourselves and Ghana proud.

The Zambians are a capable side so it would be a disaster to underestimate them.
