If Sammy now realises that a political party is not higher than a state institution, especially one as important as the Supreme Court, then bravo for rule of law. A good sign. Never mind about the rest... it is just drama. But one piece of advice. Your'sir john' cannot be an indispensable individual for that post! I know for sure, and Ghanaians, whether for NPP or against know that you have more competent candidates on the sidelines. So resign and go where? Resign and go to full time law practice, brother sammy! And just in case you don't realise it, all political parties belong to Ghana, They are properties of Ghana, not just the members!!!Why? Because they are pillars of Ghanas democracy whether in Government or in opposition. They are governments in waiting when in opposition! When in government they enhance( or slow down the work of the government depending on how well organised they are! So never mind that our political parties need a lot of capacity building and heavy doses of sanity injections, they are still essential our form part of Ghana's tools for democracy and sustainable development. The sooner you guys in your party realise this the better for all of us. This 'they and us syndrome' that the two leading parties suffer from must be sanitised now. In anycase the change is on. It has be ongoing for years. Just open up and you can feel it, for free!!!

These party stalwarts of NPP are going public because the NPP has become autocratic with no room for divergent opinion at all.
According to Sammy Awuku,the NPP has a strong case in court - this is the type of thinking that has been misleading the NPP all this time.
The NPP's case is weak because they are not disputing the vote counts as declared by the EC or attributing any wrongdoing to President Mahama or Afari Gyan that padded President Mahama's votes or reduced Akufo Addo's votes unjustly.
The motivation for NPP's petition is the difficulty they have in coming to terms with defeat.
Thoe among them who are thinking sound are being gagged hence their coming to public.
