Dear GCB Mgmt/Staff,
Pls remember that you have competitors scattered around you; so embarking on strike action to address your grievances will not help neither the GCB nor your customers at this time. As a reputable giant Ghanaian bank strike action will seem a little 'immature' at this time. Bear in mind that your local and foreign competitors may be preparing feverishly to absorb your customers who may fall out from your folds without wasting time as a result your strike.
Rather please come to a compromise and resolve this 'in-house' and amicably. Where possible, Management should please remove any hurdle in the way for a harmonious negotiation. This, I believe will contribute to the Peace we are all fighting for as a nation. Always strive to handle your negotiations issues in-house. Wishing you the best in your negotiations.

Simon is one of finest mangers of Ghana's corporate world. He's got a job to do and he is so far performing very well. GCB is not a charity but a business floated on the Ghana stock Market and it needs to be managed for all its stakeholders, that is what Simon and his team are doing. The TUC of Ghana is living in the 'Cold war era' and needs to reform.

for lack of knowledge my people perish, what do you know about GCB Kwadjo? do you think all these profits the bank is making drops from heaven? have you found out how much the MD might be earning? the effort of staff all over the country results in these profits and they also deserve to get their fair share. I believe ignorance is killing many of us and we just comment on any thing even though our knowledge of it may be shallow.

GCB workers are looking forward to strike not because of poor conditions of service or bad management but one of the reason is the Labour laws that govern the unions operations. This must change to reflect the new status (PLC) of the bank.
Simon and his team are doing a good job so far as the market is concerned.
Technology is changing the game and the bank must respond.
My dear GCB Management, please let peace prevail for the workers to work happily for the success of our dear Bank. The workers have toiled a lot for the life of GCB and deserve the best.
