Many people have always known that politicians (whether on the campaign trail or otherwise, including when they are in trouble) are often found being "economical with the truth". However, to seek to justify such lies and falsehoods as part and parcel of the "business" is unfortunate, and at the heart of our problems.

You may have your reservations regarding the credibility of Kofi Juma, but on this occasion, he had shed some fundamental insight into that trade association called politicians. The lies , falsehoods and semantics are unfortunately part of the trade. I know it because I am one of them. Don't forget, most of them even though on opposing sides are still bosom friends. In public they display enmity but in private they commiserate, share meals and drinks and jokes. At least, the friendship of Kojo T (Captain Tsikata) and Nana Akuffou Addo is no secret. Some of HE President JDM's family members are close friends of ex-President Kuffour. I personally have close friends and family who are NPP and CPP and I can assume you do too. We are one big family with opposing views.

Kofi Jumah, today you've made a sensible comment. Please go ahead and preach these words to an ordinary ghanaian who is roaming on the street of Accra and Kumasi to focuss on important issues that will help the nation. Tell every Ghanaian especially NPP supporters that, politics is a game so they should work hard and make Ghana a better place instead of spewing garbage at all times. I rest my case.

All that we know is that most of the MPs, politicians, pastors, leaders in our communities and work places in Ghana are liars, thieves, lawless, indiscipline, lack integrity, not trustworthy, use religion as a screen to cover their immoral and dishonest practices and selfish charlatans!!. Most politicians would cry to the public and lie about the state of the nation yet they would secretly formulate the ex-gratia, increase salary and allowances including, housing domestic and entertainment and car allowances and travels for themselves.

Did this brother check his words before speaking? He is telling us that we should not trust them because they say what they don't mean. We don't need such people in our country. If a person is to convey information to people he must be truthful. You have taking us for a ride. This is why we are not advancing. Those of you who have the right information don't present the true picture of the situation. We are in serious trouble. The young men should take over from these people who lie for their living. Ghana deserves better than this.

"There is so much exageration in our profession to the extent that during elections, electorates are made to believe that after voting for a particular candidate, the nation would be transformed into Heaven" says Jumah! I am a constituent of Garu in the Upper East my MP being Dominic Azimbe Azumah. Hon Juma's words just tells one who Dmonic Azumah is as our MP for the past years. Durin Parliamentary Primaries that we see him with all the gold, minerals and vitamins that he can produce mainly for the NDC hand picked delegates mainly consisting of he the MP's relatives, friends and the elderly. His contestants made up of professionals especially learned teachers, accountants and research psychologist. With the delegates who have been bribed and bribed over the years, these learned contestants stand no chance at all. As Justice Atuguba pointed out on the 14th,a 'political galamsey' is reborn and the electorate concerned continue chewing the curd!Poverty within Garu Constituency has churned the citizen into a zobie and the ability to make a reasonable informed political selection is alien in Garu constituency.
