Judgement has already been delivered on the Waterville and ISOFOTON scandals, and all what your corrupt govt has to do is to demand the monies from your gangster-accomplices.

I don't know if it's incompetence, timidity, cowardice or what. The Law enforcement agencies should be able to investigate people even in the President's office and, if need be, make an arrest where crime has been committed but not so in Ghana. I don't know why the Law enforcement agencies cannot make independent investigations and arrest anyone that's indulged in criminal activities without the consent of the President.

I am glad that the President wants to take such a line of action. This is a young President after JJ and I have always believed that JM will have absolutely nothing to lose if he is PROACTIVE. The truth is that the only way JM can unite Ghana behind him is through being POSITIVE, BOLD AND PRACTIVE.

He should not listen to any of those spineless and wayward talks because in the end all parties will unite behind him if he is bold and visionary. The way to sell Ghana both internationally and to the electorate is to be BOLD and PROACTIVE. If Mahama fails to live by his word, he will go down very quickly for, Ghanaians appear to have need of ONLY one type of President and it is the most proactive President who will ultimately unite the whole country. This is why young Mahama should take his chance by being fearless, bold and resolute on all including the AG himself.

If Mahama is not able to prosecute ministers, CJs, CEOs, etc., when they act fraudulently, he will become a dismal failure. The country is currently facing huge cost outlay by paying people better with an expectation that they will work harder, more efficiently and value their jobs. There is hardship all the same and it is likely that cost of living will rise as the dynamics of inflation sets in. This may produce pockets of strikes making life harder. However, the government took a bold decision on that one and will ultimately reap profits if and only if its kind gesture is reciprocated through higher productivity and hard work.

To ensure hard work in this context means stopping corruption in its very tracks irrespective of who commits it. If this does not happen, any effort by the government will be to no avail. It is good to catch all fish be they small or big but it could promote maximum impact and effect if the biggest fish including judges of all grades are jailed as well if they are found to be corrupt. Otherwise the President will become a joke. That should never happen and that is the reason why the President’s ideas must be practical to have
