I am surprised that we have Internal Auditors in Ghana especially with the public sector organisations.
What have they been doing with regards to oversight responsibilities, compliance procedures, prevention and detection of fraud and above all SERVICE AND BUSINESS PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS? Where have these so-called Internal Auditors been and we have not felt their presence in even their traditional functions of compliance, fraud prevention and detection if they feel business process reviews and improvements are too advanced for them to implement?
Shame unto you Internal Auditors in Ghana.
