  What's wrong with those people?, all you guys are unemployed but still doing some foolish things, why don't you guys ask the government to creat an employment for you to work so that you can leave a GOOD life if not better?,D ...

  Let me tell you what is wrong with them. They are frustrated, because there are lack of meaningful infrastructures in the region that will help create jobs for the youth of that part of the Volta region. The region is where bulk of the agriculture produce that help to sustain the Volta region and for that matter the nation as a whole, but there are no basic infrastructure to attract local investors into the region who will create jobs for these folks. The northern part of Volta region has been neglected for so long. The people there want their own region. They are not ewes so they are been treated like second-class citizens in the region. Everyone development project in Volta region goes to the ewe areas. How can the biggest cocoboard offices be situated at Hohoe and not at or near the areas where the actual cocoa is cultivated and harvested. Both NPP and NDC keep lying to them for their votes but never fulfill their promises. These guys are frustrated. Give them their Region and there will be peace. -Period.

  Having said that, for the youth of Nkwanta to go on the rampage because they do not like the prez nominee for DCE is very nonsensical. If you go on rampage and destroy property, how do you expect the area to be developed? How do you expect private investors to invest there so there can be jobs for the youth? It is our political system that has made it so. In developed democracies, the government can chose people from the opposition to fill very important positions. In Ghana, it is rather the winner takes all. This has contributed to party troubles in Ghana. Now, if the prez nominates a person for a district, is that DCE only for the NDC or the whole district? People need to reason up because politics is not the end of the world.
  The youth should not always sit down for politicians to use them and dump them after reaching their aim. As at now, who are the people hiding and sleeping in the bush. If the soldiers and police get them, who shall be beaten up or tortured? Who gets hurt? The youth need to use their senses.
