It is simply horrifying the poor level of command of the English language displayed on Ghanaian websites. I once browsed through an Angolan website and the level of English was far, far higher than one finds on Ghanaian sites. And Angola is a Lusophone or Portuguese-speaking country! I must say it is more of a joy reading Nigerian sites too, even when they write in pidgin.

What a waste of time and Internet resources? Why would the operators of this platform allow these? How would these meet the intend purposes of setting up the platform, for funny jokes? Look, for many reasons this platform must have been stock of practical ideas to push both individuals and the whole nation forward. I do not wholly blame these irrelevant, provocative, divisiveness, tribalistic, etc comments on this platform on those contributors, but particularly on the operators who just can't sit up to censor some of the writings demeaning the essence of the platform. Anyway, what I think we can do to overhaul the police service to ensure value for money and also purposeful dignity maintained are;
1. Parliament should legislate an independent police complain commission (IPCC)
2. This commission would be watchdog over the activities of the police, investigate and report to the judiciary and parliament about complains lodged against police officers or the service in general for all required sanctions to be taken against offending police officers.
3. Transparent and easy monitoring system to ensure complainants can trace their cases to the end must be provided
4. The Ghanaian public must be encourage to report criminal activities of the police to the IPCC with evidence like taking photos, record conversations, etc when they suspect crime in the police activities
5. Anonymous Websites and telephone hotlines can be created by the IPCC for complainants who may be afraid to be track by the police for reporting crimes in the police administration
6. Monitoring system set up to weed out abusive use of these facilities
