Of course, there will be celebrations by the supporters of the wining party and there is the possibility of some death due to over jubilation. That is not something heavy unless it's tens or hundreds people dying. For your information, particularly, since you claim to use your brain often, what your so-called man of God referred to as "something heavy" means a national tragedy or disaster happening in Ghana after the SC verdict. A man of God should not make such statement unless of course he has an agenda. At least, that would bring in more more for his church by way of collection and tithes. Try and use your brain in a more effective and efficient way and stop following blindly.

Solomon built the church but he never boasted of his many achievements instead, like his father, David, he was humble and considered himself a sinner and prayed to God for forgiveness. David was confronted by Nathan the prophet for ordering his 'major' to be battle front where he was killed after David slept with the soldier's his wife. The truth is that most of our so called religious leaders think that they are beyond reproach and use their religious status a screen to hide behind the reality of the Bible and their community. Only the non-believers would not relate their understanding of the scriptures to their everyday lives. The so called faithful followers would interpret the scriptures to suit their vanities and selfish ends-'noko fio'. I have no respect for people who falsely believe that they alone have the over the words in the Bible

When I was a kid growing up I had a Nigerian class mate who had satanic books to "call and instruct jins" to do whatever he needed-showing him exam questions so he can be the best student. They were mostly written as calling SAINTS; drawing all kinds of pictures, the CROSS etc! So when Kwesi Pratt says what he says I don't doubt that! We haven't forgotten when they [NDC] attempted to use portions of his sermons recorded on tape for their political campaign during the 2012 election. When Dr. Otabil expressed his disgust and disagreement, he quickly became NDC's public enemy to this day.

Reading the comments to this article clearly reveals that the NDC is in hot waters. They're burning with rage. In this modern world it's illegal to use or copy the craft or bottks written by others, as well as speaches spoken by artistes or professionals.

Then when the Supreme Court hearing seem to be exposing NDC's wicked plot and crazy agenda, they start usuing threats and warnings about an iminent doom, should the Supreme Court not favour them. They've made threats in which instance one of their "aparatchiks" have been punished to serve a 3-day jail term. What's NDC's scouts including their paid journalists, like Kwesi Pratt all about? Do they think they know better than everyone; do they think they're above the laws of the land?

Sometimes we go overboard when making public comments. The fact that the media gives us the platform to express our views should not give us the authority to attack the integrity of other who also have the right to express their views especially if those views are not attack on individuals.
Kwesi, even though some of us share your position on some issues,you need to execise circumspection. I will either not be happy with the cooments by Mr Pratt if I am a member of the church.

No books in our library houses, but the Ghanaians praise God for first ladies giving out bibles to school kids. Because in the Bibles we learn to grow Corn and Cassava, Yam and Pepper. To clean water and produce electricity. We even learn to stop authority steaing.

“We can talk of a church by Mensa Otabil, he has established a renowned university in Ghana. He has a scholarship scheme and has contributed to many communities across the country in many ways,” he disclosed".
It is a shame Sarpong thinks achievement are only measured by the number of physical structures an individual or group of people put up to make profit out of.
Well if Sarpong and the members of ICGC are blind to note, I'll point it out to them. Otabil did not use his personal money earned to establish the University in question. He can be given credit for his entrepreneurial skills.
What Sarpong does not know is that he and all ICGC members built every ICGC church in the country and the University.
Kwesi Pratt on the other hand, has contributed immensely to National development by educating and informing the entire Ghanaian and African citizenry. If Sarpong indeed understands what Democracy is, he would appreciate the role of Kwesi Pratt played in the 30 years of serving his country as a journalist. He fought for the poor and voiceless, he put successive governments in check so that we enjoy peace, justice, accountability and freedom; the very reason Otabil is free to help establish the University and all the members of ICGC being able to peacefully worship their God and live peacefully with their families every single day. What else is better achievement than the above?
If Sarpong cares to know, prior to fully committing to journalism and social responsibilities Kwesi Pratt worked for the Nation in the Internal Revenue Service. I would not even dwell too much on the countless number of young men and women including children he has positively contributed in training and motivating; something he continue to do today.
Kwesi Pratt might not have magnificent building, school or Church in his name to have built, but he has contributed immensely in building this nation we all can now be proud of. He did all these not in a church but in another form, for not all of us can contribute to National development in the Church or by building physical structures; as it is not the only way to develop people and a nation.

They should take a cue from Peter the Disciple when he passionately and swiftly took offense at the men who thronged his Master at Judas' scheme of betrayal. Remember Peter's reaction? He pulled a knife and smashed off someone's ear! But amazingly, the Good Lord restored the cut lobe and calmed Peter with a caution. So let the Lord fight your battle with you directing your complaint to Him. He knows how best to handle it.

Kwesi Pratt is glaringly known to pass comments on anything that crosses his path whether he has knowledge about it or not. Whether we must listen to him alone as repository of wisdom. I wonder how much repair or constructiveness his incessant but mostly misdirected attacks on persons he shares opposing views with has achieved over the years.

I am saying that Otabil is not a man of God. The men of God don't speak nonsense and they don't predict chaos and cataclysm to their country and their nation. Otabil did not feel anything rather he openly talked about the plot going on against the people of ghana by him and his tribe men and followers.

Kwesi did not steal money to built university and write books but Kwesi Pratt is giving his people more valuable gifts: accurate information, education for them to differentiate the truth from the lie, the good from the bad, the saint from the devil and so on. May God protect Kwesi Pratt and his children.

In fact the members of Otabil's congregation should be held responsible if something happens to Kwesi as they threatened him. Kwesi must prosecute them for cursing him. But I am confident, God knows better than each of us who is who.

Ghana is a democratic nation, as such people reserve the right to speak out their minds. So, I don't think it is out of place for the Religious Leader that Pastor Otabil is to warn his congregation about an impending doom from his own pulpit. If I read the story right, I think it says, he felt God was conveying a message through him to His people from his pulpit, not from a political platform. One thing I know about the Old Testament prophecies is that, prophecies of impending devastations were conditional, in other words, God usually stayed such things if His people repented. Once again, if I read the story right, after Pastor Otabil felt an impending doom, he led his church membership to a prayer and fasting session, like doctors diagnose and prescribe. If he had not done that then, he justifiably would be suffering from high fever, but that is not the case here. He did the right thing. So, he could not be suffering from high fever. As much as I may disagree with Pastor Otabil and his claims, I don't think it is my place to question his purporting revelations from God. In my opinion, Kwesi Pratt's characterization is not right.
