  Trade Unions and what they stand for may seem good politically,but in economic terms it does not add up. Who will like to be a clerk for through out one's working life? What can the minimum wage purchase in any economy. What employees need is the opportunity to better themselves and improve their skills. This cannot be forced on employers but rather the govt thru it's social programmes must provide an alternative that will rival that of employers internal programmes. The TUC must be strategic otherwise the future looks .....
