I can't believe that a whole file gone missing and the person responsible for that is on retirement and has traveled outside the country. This is complete bullocks. Wherever this guy is should be brought to Ghana. Whether he is US or Europe, the man should be brought back or his pension can be suspended until the case is dealt with.

This whole idea of a judgement debt commission is a smart ploy by the thieves in the NDC to save those who should have been behind bars by now. Clear cut robbery and thievery that should result in arrest and prosecution are being handled by a commission simply because they realise how Wreko Brobbey and Mpianim won their case in court when the NDC government attempted to use the findings of a commission to prosecute them. Oh mother Ghana, this should have been the right time for the June 4th uprising, honestly people were killed and lost properties for nothing. Because if such huge monies can be squandered in the name of dubious judgement debts and the culprits are just hauled before commissions and all you hear is excuses of missing files then that June 4th revolution was useless.

Clearly Ghana is still in the DARK AGES as far as information management is concerned. We need to start adopting proper data and information processing, and retention practices including moving from manual to electronic system. At least copies of this file would have been available if some one had kept it in a prioperly managed archieve. Why should a former employee still be the one to ponit to the location of files? What was the hand ove process before she went of retirement? How will the AG defend the interests of Ghana when they cannot locate files? This is very very disappointing. The AG's Department has got to up its game. We all blame politicians for the problems in Ghana. Well here is an example of well educated, well paid, and highly respected individuals, who are failing to do their share of uplifting Ghana. We want, we yearn to start reading about the heroic deeds of the AG. Not JOKES like this story about missing files.

Did the Finance Ministry acted on the unsigned letter from the AG's office authorizing the payments to the 'Law firm'.?
How can the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MOFEP) justify this payment without a signature on the authorizing letter?
The officer who acted on this letter at the MOFEP has got some explanations to do to the Commissioner.
I am disgusted about these corrupt practices of these 'officials'.

It's time for imprisonments, of all those involve in this disgraced, self-centered, greedy, stealing bastards. To be a member of parliament or a minister of state does not mean you have been elected or appointed into office to acquire wealth or rule over the electorates. You are there to serve the people, period. You are a servant to the people. It is a voluntary job. Please if you have any other aim, please stay out of politics. We{Ghanians} are suffering too much from our supposed servants. How much more do we have to suffer? It is a shame.Let's be careful.

Things never change in Ghanaian justice! It never ceases to amaze me, here files on serious Court cases can easily disappear into thin air never to be recovered again. It seems a lot of senior judicial officers who take up positions in respectable law firms in Ghana, do also have to be very much proficient in the dirty art of "disappearing files" like street magicians before they are given their first case in court. Case file disappearances before court hearing in Ghana these days is nothing new - therefore there is no need to be alarmed, we are used to such silly daily occurences in court. What a country!!!
