Ministers saving government loans in their individual foreign accounts and keeping the interest accrued before releasing the capital to nation's coffers. In the end, JJ changed nothing in Ghana, he rather introduced nepotism, divisions, murder and more corruption which Nkrumah fought hard to eliminate in Ghana in the 60s.

This coming from a modern day MP and a man of a party that sings democratic credentials is a slap in the face of rightful ways of righting wrongs in society! Never again the brutal and dehumanizing flogging of women in public, hauling perceived nation wreckers before military tribunal/kangaroo courts, confiscating property deemed to have been owned the corrupt way etc! And worse still, did those acts this MP is praising gone or eradicated in the nation? Corruption is now worse than before and was still bad months after the onslaught. Gambilla should please spare us the thought of the shameful era of AFRC. Go get the architects of the event and they can confide in you how much regrettable memories hang on their necks as albatross! They would tell you how they wish it never happened!
  
  Gambila should then call for the heads of all politicians deep in corruption today. He must present himself first to be prosecuted for accepting the huge monies he and his MP colleagues collected a couple of months ago in the face of economic woes of the nation!
  
  Gambila must not condemn anyone who springs up a coup tomorrow to embark on a similar house cleaning exercise in Ghana. He must in fact applaud such a person since the cleaning would be a big one as the dirt in society is so much now!
  
  No civilized nation is free from societal ills and malfeasance but functional institutions are firmly in place to deal with them and that clearly excludes military adventurism! And Ghana is no exception; the nation must be allowed to grow and mature through a learning process in our constitutional and democratic discourse. People like him should dare not dream of curtailing the learning process for we will get somewhere! Our collective resolve would hasten the process! Not coups!
  
  The good thing is that no military officer or a civilian comrade is so passionate about correcting the ills of the nation the brutal and illegal way! If there's it must be a very remote possibility! The appetite is whittled down by the fruitlessness of the adventure itself!

  From the article I read the MP was not calling for a coup to clean society today, he only referenced that what the June 4 1979 revolution was to curtail the massive corruption of that era. You talk about democracy as if that was the norm before the coup.Whether it was right or wrong, it taught us something and that is what the man is seeking to explain.
  
  History has it that JJ steered this country to democracy and he stayed to ensure stability. Like the man or not he played his part and some prople respect him for that.
  The corruption we see today is a culmination of our greed as a people and failure of successive governments to put national development before self greed. This is setting a stage for another revolution... it will not necessarily be an AFRC style, but people are getting tired, and that is what the MP is trying to drive home.

  For Agambila to posit that the violence prevented corruption was a display of ignorance. What "house cleaning" did was, it replaced "the group" Rawlings perceived to be corrupt with another, (including Rawlings himself), but this time on even gargantuan level. That's why we have the Wayomes, Maybe & Johnsons, SOFOTONS, WATERVILLES and NKOFEM fake schemes.
  
  Agambila will be talking nonsense if he really knows the political history of AFRC. That regime arm-robbed Ghana with impunity. Agambila, do a proper reseach and come back. You can do better than this obscured assertion.

  3.The judisary branch seems not to be effective.
  All these factors coming into addition has left our dear nation to be at a stand still. Lacking development has been the main proble. WWhy must continueity be a matter of application to a civilized nation like Ghana. Any time a new party comes into goverance, it refuses to continue what the former government was doing, knowing very well that was aimportanat factor, tool for the nation.
  Well it seems the people did not understood what brought up the June 4th and September 29th Revolution, therefore we have to revisit the whole show once again in this current internet world.
  Long live the ideas of the Dec. 31st revolution, God bless the Sept. 29th Ideas and may the June 4th era comes one more time, just to put to sleep these hungry crazy and urgle politicians, like it did for another 20yrs.

The were some people who had been innovative to establish their own businesses, this man came and destroyed their businesses and killed them saying one man one toilet and we are all one.
