you should be happy. we were almost kick out of the competition in the first round. that made it even more interesting even though our boys were not all that good.

  • Africanus 10 years ago

What do you mean by our boys were not all that good. Did you watch the games. Placing third in a world cup tournament is in itself a testament to their quality.

  • Frank 10 years ago

Well done guys and best wishes in life yet my concern is how are we to Hold Them well, Are they going to disappear like those guys of 2009?
Keep them well for future black Star.

  • Sammy the Sheriff 10 years ago

The 2009 guys did not disappear. We still have six who constantly feature for Blackstars, Dede Ayew, Agyeman Badu, Rabiu, Inkoom, Jonathan Mensah and Adiyiah.

The others like Bright Addai are playing club football in Euro ...

Yes, you are right. Assifuah, Boakye Yiadom, Attamah, Addico, and the winger who scored the third against Iraq wearing the # 7.
We must keep a close eye on these guys.
Which team does Assifuah play for?

He plays for Liberty Professionals in GPL.

Frank Acheampong who plays for Anderletch in the Belgium league wears number 7

I don't know what's wrong with him. He kept giving the ball away because he thinks so slow and doesn't know what to do with the ball. He does not deserve a Black Stars call ever.

  • Sammy the Sheriff 10 years ago

Frank Acheampong and Assilfuah can make it, the others are not ready. Lartey is good but we have a slew of good fours in the Blackstars there is no place for him now in Blackstars.
