this why Akwasi Nyantaky is useless as GFA boss:
Why don't we develop our pre-k to elementary soccer academy like Uruguay or Brasil, but wait til when they all grown up?
Who is the best elementary school football player? How about high school or tertiary best players?
What moves or off-season acquisitions is Fabu making to boost the team striking force etc?

Assifuah scored 6 goals in 7 matches. That's better than any strikers we have on the Black Stars. It's about time we stop calling people like Jordan Ayew a 'striker'. He is not really Black Stars material either!

It came too late, but the Satellites today exhibited a championship winning performance. For once the defence was solid and the keeper was magnificent. No wonder we kept a clean sheet for the first time in the tournament. From what I saw today, I believe there could have been a different outcome in our semi-final match if those 3 suspended players were available. Still congratulations to the boys for making Ghana and Africa proud. Let's hope some of them have gained enough experience and would be ready for the Black Stars in the near future.

Ringo, don't get me wrong. Nkonkonte with a well prepared Okro soup is a fantastic meal! I used to play defense for a juvenile team for one of the local clubs. Anytime I ate this meal before a game, I could not run more than ten yards without gasping for breath and we ended up losing. I always recall what that meal did to me; that is why I passed the comment. But hey, I sneak to the bush canteen every now and then to go and enjoy it. And I do insist our boys stay away from it. Else they will fizzle out of soccer before they reach age 25. Their Brazilian mates always wonder why they (our boys) drop out so quickly.
