Call it a ban or temporary suspension; it does not help our exporters, farmers and government. What country are we now running? The country is loosing huge amounts of money please!!!!!!!!.

WHAAAAAT, DO WE KNOW THE COST TO THE STATE. WHY DOESN'T NACOB HAVE A STRATEGY TO SCRUTINISE EXPORTS AND PREVENT THIS FOOLISH WAY OF DEALING WITH THE ISSUE

  • Frank Agyena-Karikari 10 years ago

NACOB can have a way of preventing such export of drugs with food but some of them are in cahoot with such exporters. Genuine exporters should not suffer because of the irresponsibility of others

  • DAN 10 years ago

in mean time the loaded trucks at terminals should start selling their loads to public or traders at reduced price!

  • Nii Ankrah 10 years ago

Please use ur brains.Dont use someone mistake to jeopardize others legitimate business.Just scrutinize most exports before they leave

  • Kwabena 10 years ago

What a stupid way of doing things. So genuine exporters should suffer because of the incompetence of NACOB to set up systems to trace drugs. The Exporters should sue NACOB/Govt for their losses.

  • Jospin 10 years ago

Oho NACOB! Lift this ban immediately. That is not a proffesional way to deal with drug export in non-traditional crops. These goods are perishable. Your action can cause loss of lots of money for the exporters hence Ghana.

Would have involved the use of the word 'Quarantine' to suject that the items had to undergo further scrutiny.
But we all know how many of these semi-literate people with pen and note-pads function in this country!

Power has gone to the dogs so anybody gets up and issues his own instructions. Is it the duty of NACOB to control exports in this country? Pity.
