First of all, an educated person do not start a sentence with a lower-case letter. Second, in a passive phrase, you do not use "can." Third, the word is "so-called" not "so called." Fourth, "markets!Third world" is not a word in the dictionary.

Maybe, for better grammar, your post should read as follow:

Meanwhile the fires continue.
Rawlings stood in the smouldering embers of his gutted house to give a press conference, instead of fencing off and treating the site as a crime scene so as to investigate the cause of the fire. If fire needed investigation by foreign experts, JJ's Ridge house was a prime candidate.
If we have security agencies that are so under-resourced that we need foreigners to investigate fire outbreaks, vote rigging, foreigners to finance our energy, education and food sectors, and we kid ourselves into believing we are anywhere near "middle income" economy (what ever that means), then we haven't even woken up into the 21st century.
That is my honest opinion.
We value nothing of our own until and unless there is an "outside" input or component.

Ghanaians SHOULD not and MUST not compare themselves and their institutions and Ghanaian bred professionals to Americans or Germans or Japanese or British counterparts. We haven't advanced enough to think we can do things for ourselves or compare our institutions or home bred professionals with "so called inferior ones" in these countries. Having Only a few elite educated professionals and "below standard hospitals such as Korle Bu & Kumasi Central Hospital) among us don't make us near these ADVANCED countries. Lets not follow our Nigerian brothers BUT be patient and "get coached" by these WELL DEVELOPED NATIONS. Ghanaians must refrain from boastful attitude that a Ghana trained doctor is comparable to a Ghanaian trained in Russia or Poland. These institutes may be inferior to German or British or American medical school but compare with our Legon or Tech they are well ahead. It will even be privileged to have these " so called inferior" Russian or Polish Hospitals (Equipment & consultants and other personals) in Ghana. To me any of the " So called inferior institutions" in or professionals in any advanced country or Non western country is good for Ghana NOW. In FUTURE when Ghana also advanced we will get rid or pass them to our lessen disadvantage brothers in other parts of the world. For God seek lets have World Class Standard Board to monitor Doctors, Lawyers, Accountants, Hospital Professionals, Pharmacists and professionals in general BUT lets not be BIASED.
