Provision of dental services to northern Ghana is long overdue. One mind boggling fact is that the field is wide open for dentists to establish private practices in the regional capitals. Now that there are more private hospitals in Tamale, patients are patronizing them in their numbers. Were a dentist or dentists to set up practices in Tamale, they would surely get lots of patients.
