I reserve the right as a citizen of Ghana to protect and defend my honour and integrity should this civilized challenge for the truth be ignored.
This is not the price I should be made to pay by the Government of Ghana for defending the Constitution of Ghana in the Waterville and Isofoton unconstitutional payments declared by the Supreme Court.

I talked about a "reported" death and referred to French-West African news...
Merci Nelson Mandela.... Salut !

News from elsewhere: Madiba ...
(At the time you read this, Nelson Mandela may be dead) It took 16 days, 16 long, long, very long days for the South African authorities recognize "officially" a critical state of health Madiba.
16 days of agony that was hidden, as if the fact that Nelson Mandela would die or something unimaginable, as if South Africans do not know how to manage the post Madiba, as if trying to convince the crowds that some great men can not die.
16 long, long, very long days when South Africa agonizing pace of scarce health bulletins that we learned is that "Mandela is a worrying situation" or "there is a better" or even better, " he received his little girl "....
The only certainty in the agony of the great man, the calls to prayer ... And just a huge part of South Africa and beyond South Africa, around the world. 16 long, long, very long days, around the world, messages poured in, praying for the recovery of Madiba.
As if Madiba could not die. 16 long, long, very long days when nobody took the political decision to finally let go, quietly, human being in all its frailty and bodily limitations, his old man is part of our history and our personal stories, who was the light from the darkness of apartheid.
I was born the year of the imprisonment of Madiba. When he was released from prison in February 1991, I was a young mother, very young and I remember this ultra hyped release: baby in my arms, this little baby a little over a month, I was left in tears in front of my TV to finally see this man here, the myth, the hero, complete with his decades in detention. From birth (mine) to another (my son's), an entire generation ...
One story (mine) to that beginning (my son's), Madiba ... 16 long, long, very long days when the state apparatus, politics and pragmatism, played at full speed up to keep them alive at all costs, a very old man, time to decide after Mandela and how to handle the death, that will change more than anything in South Africa, the landscape of memory.
As if Madiba was still head of state in charge of an entire people ... And whether you're in the catastrophic disease management of Heads of State and / or death. Political communication abhors a vacuum. She prefers silence, that to which all the rumors, all the fantasies, all hysteria. No country is immune to this rule, namely: how do you do when a head of state is seriously wounded or sick or, worse, die?
We experienced this silence home after the gunshot wound of our President. Algerians survive in the deafening silence of the health of Bouteflika.
The Palestinians have learned bitterly with the hospital in France the old lion that was Arafat himself which was delayed the announcement of the death .... South Africa has 16 days to finally admit that this is the end of the road for Madiba, that miracles do not exist apart from the gullible, that not Madiba is not superhuman.
16 long, long, very long days he must surely have been asked to care teams to maintain at all costs the old freedom fighter alive. The aggressive treatment as policy management ... Madiba is in a "critical condition .... Mandela dies .. Madiba goes. Finally ....
Madiba is in agony and we're all dying. Finally he has the right, granted by the realpolitik of a human being ... from Madiba is in agony. Madiba will die. Let him go in peace. Let him last dignity a man can have: the peace of his death, that the right to close your eyes ...
By the release of the South African Presidency, politics comes, finally, finally, to make Mandela to other men. And himself. And loneliness of death in this deepest intimate that when we let go and only one is facing its own demise.
This time Madiba is no longer the symbol of political animal, strong, fighter, advocate, one who does not folded, but Madiba man, just a man facing the end. Madiba is in agony and we agonize too.
Dying as a whole period of blood, fire, terror, racism, that was apartheid. Dying as the tenacious will of this man there to reconcile all of South Africa, not giving in to community pressure, the vengeance, the feuds, the demands of atonement suffering.
Madiba has shown that peace can only come from the will. He built the multicolored South Africa where resentment gave way to hope. In a bloody company has made a firm future, all possible futures. He opened his arms to former tormentors.
He clung, against the feeling of a part of the ANC in SA World Cup rugby to reconcile its South Africa. He, with much love, forced South Africans to reconcile and build .... Madiba is dying, and with it, it is a certain idea of ??human agonizing.
Madiba dying and I cry ... Not on his approaching death. No, it would be an insult than crying over his death. I weep for what will disappear with him hope, hope for a colorful society where skin color means nothing.
Madiba dying and many try to recover his life, using the memory of fighting to justify their own struggles or political ambitions ... Ultimate insult to the man who reminded us, with tenacity, that peace is through forgiveness ... Madiba dying. Madiba goes. Madiba a legend. Madiba dying. Respect the agony and the death foretold. Let it go ... There will be time later for all recoveries ....
Thank you Nelson Mandela .... Hi!

DANGEROUS!!! I THINK THE SUPREME COURT SHOULD STOP FOCUSING THEIR ATTENTION ON THE POLITICAL CHAOS OUT THERE AND CONCENTRATE ON THE HARD FACTS AND EVIDENCE BEING ADDUCED BEFORE THEM IN THE COURT ROOM. IF CARE IS NOT TAKEN, THE JUDGES MAY END UP BEING PART OF THE PROBLEM INSTEAD OF PROVIDING THE SOLUTION. THUS, AGGRAVATING THE ALREADY POLARIZED POLITICAL HORIZON......THAT COULD BE VERY DANGEROUS!! OBVIOUSLY THE OUTCOME OF THIS CASE SHOULD HELP RESOLVE THE CHAOS BUT NOT TO WORSEN IT. I WOULD SUGGEST TO JUDGES TO DESIST FROM LISTENING TO THE MEDIA AGGRAVATIONS (I.E., STOP READING AND LISTING TO THE PARTISAN MEDIA REPORTAGE- NEWSPAPERS, RADIO, TV, ETC). INDEED, THEY SHOULD TRY TO ADOPT THE OLD FANTI ADAGE OF "PANYIN DUA MANNTSE MANNTSE POLICY..... "SEE NO EVIL, HEAR NO EVIL, TALK NO EVIL" TO FINISH THIS CASE PEACEFULLY. AFTER ALL, IT IS THE FINAL RULING OF THE JUDGES THAT WILL COUNT AND NOT WHAT PEOPLE SAY, THINK OR REPORT NOW THAT MATTERS. IF THE REMAIN KEEP CLEAN CONSCIENTIOUS, PROFESSIONAL, ETHICAL, KEEP THEIR INTEGRITY AND COMMITMENT TO THE MORE SUPREME INTEREST OF MOTHER GHANA, THEY DON'T NEED TO FLEX THEIR MUSCLES OR WIELD ANY GAGGING "POWER" TO CONTROL PUBLIC OPINION. OTHERWISE, THEY STAND THE RISK OF TRYING TO CURTAIL SOME OF THE FUNDAMENTAL CONSTITUTIONAL FREEDOMS THAT ARE INHERENT IN THE GHANAIAN CITIZENRY. INDEED, IT IS ALSO INTERESTING TO NOTE HERE AGAIN THAT, THE AUTHORITY OF THE SUPREME COURT ARE DERIVED FROM THE SOVEREIGN POWER OF THE PEOPLE OF GHANA. IN FACT, THE WAY AND MANNER ALL THE FOUR TEAMS OF EMINENT LAWYERS GATHERED THEIR VOICES TO PLEAD FOR MERCY ON BEHALF OF SAMMY AWUKU, SHOULD SOUND A BELL INTHE EARS OF THE HONORABLE JUSTICES THAT GHANAIANS ARE MORE INTERESTED IN SEEING JUSTICE DONE IN THE THIS PRESIDENTIAL PETITION, BUT SO MUCH INTERESTED THE JUDGES SHOWING GHANAIANS "WHERE POWER LIES"; CRACKING THE WHIP OR CUTTING PEOPLE TO THEIR "RIGHT SIZE" I BELIEVE THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY IS ALSO OBSERVING CLOSELY AND WOULD BE MORE STUNNED TO SEE PEOPLE THROWN TO JAIL BY THE SC FOR COMMENTING ON THIS PETITION... WHICH IS A BIG TEST CASE FOR AFRICA'S DEMOCRACY. A WORD TO THE WISE IS ENOUGH!!!!!

What a shame to Ghana's democracy and selectively corrupt justice systems.

Let Atuguba examine his own ways, turn a new leaf, and lead the case in the right direction. Only then would Ghanaians refrain expressing views contrary to where Atuguba wants to lead us. That way, the whole country would be behind him, and for that matter anybody who falls out of line would be clearly identified to have fallen foul of our laws and the laws of the courts. Stand up and be counted, Atuguba!

I dont understand all this comic tactics by the Supreme Court focusing on comments made by individuals regarding the ongoing proceedings. So can't one express opposing and divergent views if he/she disagree with the position of the judges on a matter?
I thought the Constitution grants freedom of expression and speech and the judiciary are there to uphold and defend this constitutional provision.
Or is it the cses that the judges have something in their sleeves and are using this tactics to swade the entire Ghanaian populace?
I suggest they focus and expedite action to conclude the most important issue before them rather than spending their energy on views being express by individuals, which are those individual's civil rights under the constitution.
They must dismiss the case and tell us they lack the competency to adjudicate proceedings.
The whole world is watching them and they have a bigger responsibility to themselves and mother Ghana.
Long Live th Constitution of Ghana! Long Live the Republic of Ghana!!!!

Freedom, it's a priceless gift but respect for authority is enviable and more precious! Most of us have lost it! We're struggling daily to strike a dignified balance between the two. Yes criticize but let's do so with sense of decorum devoid of lies and half-truths.
At the same, it will be strange and close to authoritarian rule if any human authority would frown upon criticism since no human institution and for that matter human is without fault. Many of such faults are so grave that glossing over them could ditch a whole nation!

THE JUDGES MAY END UP BEING PART OF THE PROBLEM INSTEAD OF PROVIDING THE SOLUTION.

This is indeed a good sign of the seriousness of the Supreme Court. The war drummers should be checked. Bravo to our Honourable Judges
...However,lets consider the timings and duration for the Supreme Court petition proceedings before the court.Time is not on our side for, the country is idle and needs a Leader and substantive president.
This is not a police state and this nonsense from the judge should stop.
You don't know the difference between a police state and a nation of a rule of law.
Don't mind that nitwit, he hasn't got a clue. He;s just commenting because everyone is.

You are getting your own medication and you feel stupid now. My comments had nothing to do with you and you called me ignorance when you had no business in what l said. This is how fools like you react. Treat your ignorance ...
