Finally the light has SHINE on our beloved country to uproots all the evil corrupt OFFICIALS both past and present, once and for all out from our society.
Honestly every decent Ghanaians know that the vast natural resources we have, Ghanaians should have not travel anywhere to live good live.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ANOTHER PATRIOT MARTIN AMIDU Who has follow the foot path of the former great ones like Kwame Nkrumah, JJ RAWLINGS.
I call on the SUPREME COURT to use these two cases as a stepping stone to, ( AHA MOMENT)to retrieve all money that whites thieves and their companies has taken from our country. Also re-negotiates all contracts with all companies, foreign or domestic. Examples: ASHANTI GOLD FIELD OBUASI, THE GHANA OIL, DIAMOND, MANGENESE, BOXITE , TIMBER,COCOA etc..
The new contracts Ghana should have the great share of income from all the national resources.
The AG and the SC should instigate and investigate thoroughly and bring any Ghanaian official(s) who was elected to protect the peoples property but rather choose the greedy way. Must all be brought to justice.
The justice department should not condone with any person involved in all those criminal deals NO MERCY!

I wish all the huge contracts, from Vodafone to Kosmos-EO Group, from Waterville to whatever all be reviewed by the Supreme Court. They should not necessarily be targeted for annulment but for identifying the flaws that might have been taken advantage of to our gross detriment so that we do not repeat those errors again. The SC would then prevail upon the Parliament to immediately enact the necessary laws or amendments to plug those loopholes.
We have lost major National Assets lately. From Ashanti Gold Mines to Ghana Telecoms, etc. , all under the guise of divestiture and international partnership investments. The road to privatization is irreversible and most needed. But it has been booby-trapped with numerous hidden hazards. Oops! I nearly used a term that would have sent the Security Agencies scuttling to track me needlessly. I only mean our financial disasters and accidents.
The SC could do so without scaring off genuine and incorruptible foreign investors. Those are what we need to stop the thieves within and without.
Long live Ghana!!!

Berko, the problem strictly lies with the governments. For instance, how about governments that clearly sidesteps those constitutional provisions and go ahead to award contracts? That was exactly what the NPP government of Kufuor did. Did they not know? Or would the parliament have refused to accept the government entering in to the Waterville contracts?
This doesn't mean those in Parliament didn't know of the contracts. But these are things that happen when you have so many crooks with bad faith and malevolent intentions in government.

What a funny initiative.Although i respect the MP'S but it is sad for a Country like Ghana to be handled by political leaders, the lawyers in matters of Economy.Do they know the side effects of it,our Countries are full of laws, but the implementation is the matter. Why?because we are not independent,we rely on donation to meet up our budget expenses. Are they going to be refusing the conditionalities attached to the contracts.HEY I AM AFRAID THE DOWNFALL OF GHANA IS VERY CLOSED PLEASE LET'S DO SOMETHING.THEY NEVER BEEN A C'TTEE TO INVESTIGATE WHY OUR CITIES ARE PERPETUALLY DIRTY,WHY WE ALWAYS HAVE DUMSO DUMSO,HOW MANY INHABITANTS IN AN AREA MUST A PUBLIC TOILET,WHY REPETITIVE WATER ISSUED,THE LONGEVITY OF OUR ROADS,THE OPEN GUTTERS IN OUR CITIES,
Economists in Ghana should be called upon to deal with these matters.Ghana lacks leaders because most of them have one way thinking due to these lawyers,i guess there are more lawyers in Ghana than Medical doctors.Oooh Ghana
