Yes, they should bring in more Cuban Doctors. Only fools reason that way. How many Cuban Doctors are allowed to practice in The Developed World? Go ahead. Bring the Chinese Doctors too. Why did the government not bring in Cuban teachers to teach when Teachers went on strike? Will the government bring in Cuban nurses when nurses in Ghana go on strike. Mahama should get himself together and settle issues instead of waiting for workers to go on strike.

by the standards of the GHANA MEDICAL AND DENTAL COUNCIL, your beloved cuban doctors are practicing medicine illegally in ghana!!!!!! any foreign trained medical/dental doctor wishing to practice medicine in ghana has to write and pass a rigid exam set by the ghana medical and dental council before they are licensed to practice medicine here!!!! it's just like VELD licensing you to drive a motor vehicle in ghana!!! if the cubans are forced to write this exam, a greater majority will be bundled out of this country. we have lowered standards all these years!!!!! It does not make any sense to pay 63% of government revenue to salaries and wages.
The idea that Cuban doctors may not be as well trained as Ghanaians to me is pure hubris and a myth. Cuba has been training doctopus longer than Ghana has. Most of these Cuban doctors work in the US. The medical profession in Cuba has evolved over 400 years. There is no evidence that the Ghanaian trained doctors are better than their Cuban counterparts.
Ghanaian Doctors like to compare their terms and conditions of service with their counterparts who chose to practice abroad in US, Canada and the UK. That will be comparing apples and pears. The two economies are different.

They must know that there more pressing issues affecting AA Ghanaians than their petty claim for more money
